Average food - Edit
The food was good and this place is a good option for having vegan options at brunch. However the vegan options are limited and the food is average. The staff wasn’t super helpful either. I asked if the chocolate chips were vegan since I wanted to substitute those onto my açaí bowl and the staff just said “I don’t know”.

Allergic reaction!! Stay away!! - Edit
Used to love this place and their vegan options but even after stressing the severity of my food allergies I literally found a piece of fish in my vegan ranchero. As soon as I started feeling the reaction coming on I had to run out, and they claimed they “comped our bill” when they had no choice because I had to rush to get medication. They also would not admit that it was fish and tried to justify it by saying it was chicken, but I wouldn’t have had a reaction if it wasn’t chicken! Also why would there be chicken in a vegan dish? Let alone any animal products?? Just terrible cross contamination and they’re lucky I didn’t sue.

Not impressed - Edit
Went there once hoping to find a nice brunch spot. The location itself is nice, but the service we received was horrible. We had a tough time putting items together to come up with a vegan based brunch. Also ordered a couple of mimosas. We were floored when we received the check. It was so expensive for basically a couple of breakfast sides. Needless to say, we've never been back.

Lovely location - Edit
Jane's is a lovely location, yet pricey. During season you'll need to wait as it's a hot spot for good food and location.

Average - Edit
The food here was good, but compared to other restaurants with vegan options, the choices were limited an average. I also wish that the staff was better informed. I asked my waiter about how certain sides were prepared to ensure that they were vegan, and he couldn’t answer my questions, so I chose the safe route and had a side of fruit instead.

Surprised to see this on HappyCow - Edit
I went here a while back before I went vegan and I don't remember anything vegan being on the menu. That said, this place does have options for the lacto and/or ovo vegos out there. It is a cute place located on 5th ave, which if you're local you know that means $$! Overall, the food was good, service good, but I wouldn't recommend it as a normal place to eat as I think there a better more vegan/vego places in town. Do check it out though; once doesn't hurt.
