Cute cafe in Selby!

We got a warm welcome when we arrived. They have some vegan options - vegan breakfast, sausage roll, chicken, cheese, cakes, soy cream for cake, ice cream and soy milk for hot drink.

New restaurant/deli with good vegan options

Jammie Olive Kitchen (haha) is a new restaurant and deli in Selby. At the moment, they serve alternative milk and usually have one or more type of vegan cake (when I went it was the delicious Victoria sponge, pictured). The guy behind the counter took a particular interest when he learnt we were vegan, and came outside whilst we were having our tea and cake with some vegan pies they are planning to introduce to the menu (balti and mushroom, both were excellent). His attitude to gaining our opinions and going out of his way to provide us with options shows that, hopefully, this little local place will become a staple of the Selby vegan scene in years to come. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the sunshine with a big pot of tea and of course a yummy cake.

Pros: Proactive staff, Great cakes, Outside seating
