Diverse food - Edit
We had the shared vegan platter that gave us the option to try all of the 6 vegan curries, samosas entrees and mango sorbet, it was a feast! Food was abundant with the option to refill the curries, it was pricey but we left with full tummies. The flavours were something different from the usual ethnic cuisine you can find in Sydney.

Great food, friendly staff - Edit
We had the vegan platter with 6 options and loved everything, especially the creamy shiro wot, just a perfect dip! The injera doesn't taste too sour, so even customers not familiar with Ethiopian will like it. The staff comes around asking if you want to top up anything or if you want more injera, very friendly. Great coffee and sambusa too!

Delicious and Authentic Ethiopian Cuisine - Edit
Jo who runs this restaurant is amazingly attentive and generous, always offering top-ups of more injera flatbread and will happily give more servings of your favourite dish if you run out. The waitstaff here are also excellent.

African hospitality - Edit
The prices might seem a bit high when you first look at the menu, but once the food arrives you'll realise that not only are the portions very large, but the restaurant functions almost with an all you can eat policy. The restaurateur walks around attentively with a basket of scrolls of njera ready to top you up, and if you manage to finish a portion of stew he will stop by and offer to refill your plate. It is impossible to leave here hungry.
Read moreThe atmosphere inside the restaurant is very warm and intimate. Eclectic decor and art give you conversation starters, and the attentive service means you're never waiting around in awkward silence. I believe this place would be perfect for a first date.

Delicious food with plenty of vegan options - Edit
The food was excellent and the staff were friendly. It was a little pricey but the servings were large and I was offered more injera so I think it's good value for money. It is fully licensed so you can buy alcohol

Great food and service! - Edit
Separate vegan section including individual dishes for $25 (served with injera) or a share platter for $30 each incl starter and either ice cream or coffee. Will definitely be returning! All staff were so inviting, attentive and friendly. Unfortunately we didn’t make a reservation so had to sit outside which was lovely but the wind whipped up now and then. Highly recommend coming here!
