Overrated place - Edit
We tried twice in this place and we were disappointed all the time. The curry was aqueous, the roasted salad had totally different vegetables from the menu. Totally overrated

Overrated - Edit
Went there for desert because they looked so yummy. Tried the chocolate cake, was a huge pice but it tasted like bread, the banana peanut cake was so deep frozen it tasted of nothing at the beginning and after 10 minutes the banana flavor was there. Unfortunately no peanut at all. We also tried a round coconut Whatever ball, this also tasted of bread.. the berry smoothie was good though and the coffee as well. Prices are absolutely ok.

Great place - Edit
It’s a really nice place, the menu is great, was hard to decide what to take. Had the lasagne which was good, but don’t expect a really noodly one, it was kind of doughy, hard to describe. But delicious

Good western food - Edit
The first time I went here I got the burger which was quite bad tbh, but the chocolate cake was nice. The second time we got the lasagne and the gnocchi and they were soo goood! It’s really easy to miss as it’s on the second floor and there’s no sign on the first floor. The prices are quite high for Hanoi ~ mains for 100K

Best vegan lasagne we’ve ever had! - Edit
Delicious vegan lasagne. Seriously the best and so great to have a change from Vietnamese food. All the food tasted fantastic. Wish we could have eaten here again. One of the nicest places & nicest food on our whole trip of Vietnam! A great oasis in busy Hanoi.

I went here twice (and might go again) and tried different things - pancakes, omelette, chocolate cake, banana peanutbutter chocolate cake, different smoothies. Everything was super delicious and totally worth its price.

Delicious - Edit
My personal favorite of all the restaurants I have visited in Hanoi. Hard to find you have time go through a tight alley and head upstairs.

Not sure what is so great about this place - Edit
We went two times, had different things (pizza, burgers, smoothies, etc) and nothing was outstanding, portions are ok but almost everything I tried lack of taste and is expensive.

And no, they don't accept credit cards. Just cash.

Average - Edit
It looked really fancy and it had more than four stars, but what you get stays behind expectations. I had the tropical island salad which sounds super delicious, but you have to take the description literally: it was just some leaves of green salad and a handful of mango and avocado over it. It was fresh, but very boring - especially for the price. I don’t think I will come back. Although the mango pancake for breakfast sounds good. Staff was really nice!

Not great - Edit
This was the most reviewed vegan restaurant in Hanoi so I figured I’d bring some friends and introduce them to vegan food. The staff was really sweet, however the food wasn’t too great. The lasagna was mushy, so was the patty for the bbq burger. However the flavours and spices for those were delicious! The mushroom stew was tasteless though, do avoid it. Also do not order the avocado mousse, as the one I was served was really bitter and watery! Hopefully they’ll see and improve on this

Okay Food - Edit
Place is hard to find, there is an ally way on the left hand side, go through there and take the steps.
Read moreFood is expensive and a little bland. I wasn’t too pleased with the atmosphere and service.
Some things on the menu aren’t available. Chocolate cake not the best but a very good effort. Everyone has different experiences and enjoy different types of food. So It May be that it is just not suitable for me.
Overall I’m pleased there is a vegan restaurant around a little improvement is needed but has potential to be great.
Pros: Passion fruit and Mango smoothie , Decor is quirky , Bamboo straws
Cons: Atmosphere , Bland , Small portions

Dinner - Edit
Server was nice, the atmosphere was very cute and relaxed. We only got 1 drink - a soy latte - which was good. Between the 2 of us, we ordered the nocci and the tofu mushroom burger - the burger was good but pretty bland. It would have been better if there had been more spices, or ketchup available. The nocci was cooked in way too much oil, there was no flavor other than the oil they put on it. Also, there was sadly no vegan ice cream. The other desserts looked good, but we picked this place because of the ice cream.

Very Small Portions - Edit
The food was good but I find the portion a bit miserable for the price offered. I went up to the 2nd floor and it was quiet on that day. I enjoyed the dining area, far away from the traffic.

Good Quality Tiny Portions - Edit
Nice enough but small for the price. Big Plus: out server noticed that my cousin hadn't touched her juice. She asked if there was a problem and removed it from the bill when we told her the juice didn't taste good. That's great service.

amazing food and lovely interior - Edit
To find this place you need to go down a thin corridor then up the stairs on the left, you will see the address number outside but no restaurant logo. The food here was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend the mango pancakes and chocolate mint iced coffee! I would definitely go to this place again. The interior design is lovely - modern/rustic.

Nicht besonders gut - Edit
Super gemütliches Lokal mit toller Einrichtung. Personal sehr freundlich.

One of My Favorites in Hanoi - Edit
I wish they were open earlier so I could come for breakfast as well! I went here three times during my five day stay in Hanoi. I tried the chickpea and sweet potato burger, the energy coffee, the lentil stew, and another soup that I forgot the name of 😝. Everything I had was so good, and filling! I wish I could go back to try the cheesecake.

disappointed - Edit
I was looking forward to try this place out but I was really disappointed. Yes the place is cute, but the food is really bland. We had the tofu in claypot and fresh spring rolls and were disappointed by both. The juices and smoothies are really nice, and the chocolate cake is not bad but too sweet for me. The staff is really lovely... when you can find them. They often leave the room so it is a struggle to ask for something. The menu offers almost only "European" food, so maybe we should not have tried the only few items that sounded Vietnamese. Overall it was not an horrible experience, but I would no go there again nor recommend it, especially if you are looking to try Vietnamese food.

The tea was good tho... - Edit
As there are just a few options for an entire vegan menu around this area, we gave Jalus a try. We had a tofu mushroom sandwich, the gnocchi, an orange juice and a Vietnamese tea (after the staff told us, that various menu options are not available). The tofu Sandwich came with a lame avocado „spread“ a leaf of lettuce, sweet potato sticks and another three lettuce leaves. The patty was a sticky tofu mushroom something without any taste at all! No spices and no love within both meals. The gnocchi were trenched in oil and covered in baking almonds (why?) with no taste either! They should consider to use some salt or herbes in the kitchen!
Read moreBecause the chocolate cake seemed to look good, we gave it a try but they failed again. It was just a fudgy piece of chocolate and I mean to make something taste sweet and chocolate like is not a big deal. The juice came with heaps of sugar but this seems to be a major Vietnamese problem. The staff was obviously unable to manage 10 guests at the same time. Paid 360k for the mentioned dishes but I would not spend a tenth for it! Unless they don’t consider a new kitchen crew, I would never recommend you to go there! We’re really disappointed!
Pros: -
Cons: no taste , confused staff, bad value for money
