Vegan place - Edit
A bit hidden, you need to go through a small alley and then take the stairs, but a nice vegan place with an English menu. All organic and prices are normal. I eat a pumpkin soup and I had a tasty smoothie for lunch.

Was good - Edit
The Service was good and my gnocchi and juice as well, but the lasagne was way to sweet and felt like cantina style.

A quiet find to escape the madness. - Edit
Hanoi is a little bit crazy especially if you’ve never been anywhere that’s such a senses overload before. We popped in here for a nice herbal tea and some spring rolls before continuing on our adventures. The staff were friendly, it was quiet and calm and just the sort of escape we needed. Thanks!

Western- European style food - Edit
A quiet getaway from the bustle of Hanoi but for a price. Very western/European food which is okay if you’re looking for it, but if you’re after local food look elsewhere. Also a pricey place to eat but food was enjoyable and filling. Also have vegan cakes which were yummy.

Small Cute Vegan Eatery - Edit
Jalus is a nice little spot to get some vegan food in Hanoi. We went here twice during our weeklong trip. They have juices, smoothies, as well as a few local options and some western dishes. The menu is a good size and food is on the healthier side. We tried the nori wraps, spring rolls, gnocchi, braised mushrooms, and a burger. The smoothie I had was delicious. The food is pretty good and Jalus is worth a visit if you are in Hanoi.

Amazing Vegan Breakfast! - Edit
I had been dying for pancakes and couldn’t find vegan smoothies or drinks that morning and this place had everything. The pancakes and the tofu scramble were both so so great! Service was great too. Definitely coming here again during my stay!

So bland - Edit
We ordered two of the tofu in clay pot. It wasn’t cooked in a clay pot. The vegetables were cooked to oblivion and there was 2 small pieces of tofu. The water was room temperature despite costing more than everywhere else.
Read moreThe aubergine side dish was nice but everything else was cooked hours ago and reheated.

Good for lunch - Edit
Cute small little upstairs place serving cafe style food, smoothies and juices. Decor not as slick as some of the other places we tried but clean and had good vibes. I had a lovely lasagne and my husband had the veg curry. Food is simple but very tasty. Home made juices are great. Staff quiet but friendly. We went for lunch but the breakfast menu also looked great. Prices seamed reasonable for the ingredients used.

So dissapointing - Edit
We followed the reviews and headed here for our first night in Hanoi. what a disappointment!
Read moreThe staff were not friendly and the food was very pricey. Still, we thought after travelling in Vietnam for 5 weeks, we'd treat ourselves to some Western style vegan food.
The food was very disappointing!!
I ordered pasta which was described as having a "spinach sauce" when in reality there were a few wilted spinach leaves on top. The portion was decent but it was tasteless and the description very misleading. My husband ordered the burger but the patty was just a big sweet potato mush (not very nice on a big bun) and the chips were totally undercooked and oily so he left most of his food on the plate. I don't like writing bad reviews for vegan restaurants but this one is very overpriced and not tasty, sorry.
Pros: vegan western style food
Cons: expensive, not tasty, description doesnt match food

Excellent! - Edit
Typically not the kind of place where Vietnamese people come to eat : in the all restaurant, there where only foreigners and the dishes were far from traditional Vietnamese food. Nevertheless, the food is extremely good, sometimes quite original. I was just disappointed there was no more cheesecake but the chocolate mousse I took instead was quite tasty !

Best vegan food I've had in south east Asia! - Edit
I've been traveling around for six months now. And on the first night I landed in Hanoi I stumbled across this place and orders about four dishes. And now after traveling around in Vietnam and coming back to Hanoi for my last night I'm heading backwards there! It's a must place even if you're not vegan the food is just incredible!
