Colourful, tasty thali!

A really lovely selection of food, a small menu but I prefer that, plus everything we had was delicious. Cassava chips with home made chutney, sev dahi puri, sweetcorn fritters and of course the vegan thali, all really good. We will definately return. The pub is also really cosy and friendly, not too packed either, but we did arrive at 4pm. Highly recommended.

The best thali in Brighton and Hove

Jaldee Jaldee at the Bottom's Rest pub is the perfect place to go for indian street food. Their vegan thali is the best in Brighton and Hove, and the majority of the menu is vegan.
Amazing friendly service and authentic tasty food in a cosy hidden away pub. I want to try the rest of the menu but the thali is just so good!

Best vegan Indian

Absolutely LOVED this little, most tasty and authentic Indian I’ve had outside of India!!
We shared a vegan thali box and can’t sing it’s praises enough

Pros: Delicious , Authentic, Great value

Cons: A limited menu.... but still great

Fantastic vegan thali and dessert

Gorgeous food, beautifully presented.
Good range of dishes, mostly vegan - chilli cauliflower starter was my favourite but the thali was great too, and the dessert deserves a mention too; chocolate brownie base with coconut ice cream topping.

Pros: Mostly vegan, Very handy for the Old Market venue

Cons: Not all vegan😄
