Pretty poor option

Not a single labeled vegan or vegetarian option which is undeserving of 4 stars IMO. After asking the wait staff and trying to customize something, you will likely end up with a bland veggie burrito with some squash, zucchini, and beans in it, with beans and rice on the side. Would really like to see some labeled menu options and the addition of a veg protein. Wouldn't be hard for them to add some tofu, TVP, or soy curls in to some tacos or burritos.

Pros: Friendly staff, Good value

Cons: Not many options, Not very flavorful, No veg protein

Awesome!

I got the veg sopapilla and it was fantastic. The sopapilla itself was delicious, and the veg filling had potatoes, peppers, onions, and beans. The green chile was super good too, thicker than many I've had other places. Everything was super fresh. We will definitely come back.

Pros: Fresh food, Great prices, Good portion sizes

Tasty Sopaipillas

Best vegan food I had in Taos. Suuuper tasty veg sopaipillas, just ask to leave if the dairy to make vegan!

Pros: Staff was knowledgeable about vegan options , Lots of variety to choose from

Veggie burrito

Awesome, smoky, spicy veggie burrito smothered in green chile sauce. Staff was very understanding about no dairy, and was able to confirm that beans were not cooked with animal products. Highly recommend if you are in Taos, especially if you are dining with some omnis.

Yum those potato tacos

Yummy options- staff didn’t blink an eye as I removed mayo and all dairy from tacos (papa) and fajitas (veggie). The salsa served with the chips is SO GOOD and we can’t stop eating it!!
