Vegan restaurant opened March 2015 in the heart of the city. The menu is varied with curries, pasta, burgers, salad, cakes and muffins. Mon-Fri serves breakfast and noon meal; on weekends supper. Uses regional and seasonal ingredients. Brunch is offered every last Sunday of the month from 10am-3 pm. Confirmed closed March 2018.

I had dinner there a couple of days ago and was impressed. The salad with mushrooms was amazing. The pho soup I found a bit basic - it had only noodles, tofu and spring onions, and I had expected a greater variety oft vegetables. The flavours of salad and soup were all strongly on the savoury side. Then, to make up for it, the ice cream I had (hazelnut and lemon) was great again. All in all highly recommended.

Read moreThe servers are so friendly and lovely. The food is super delicious. Even my boyfriend (non vegan/ part vegan) loves to eat there.
Im pretty bumped about it that they close the restaurant for good (28th Feb 2018).

Das Essen ist wirklich gut, wir waren nachmittags noch einmal auf einen Kaffee/Kuchen da! Liegt innerhalb der Stadt, ist also auch ein guter Start für eine Stadttour.

Lovely little vegan place - Edit
I was here twice already and it was amazing. I love coming here, it's an hour drive from where I live but it's definitely worth it! The food is always fresh, tastes amazing and the menu always seems to change a bit and they have a special day menu from which you can pick individual dishes or the whole menu. I can recommend the fresh lemonades. They even have vegan desserts, ice cream or cakes. Both times there was only one waitress and she was really nice and attentive and the service was quick, even when the restaurant was full.

A professional vegan restaurant. Service was fast and friendly. We had a great Tex Mex burger and for dessert I had the „Snikkers“ im Glas, which was absolutely delicious.

The Jakobs is a very nicely decorated vegan restaurant. We went on a Saturday afternoon and had a starter (a salad with Falafel) and as mains my friend had the "black bean burger" and I enjoyed the "Thai lime curry". All three dishes were absolutely perfect! My friend is an omnivore and couldn't taste a difference from any other quality non veg burger. It's a bit more pricey but worth it. You can expect quality, tasty food and lots of choices! Their menu is great. I highly recommend the Jakobs! To all vegans, vegetarians and omnis!

A clear interior and a nice staff. The meal, a sweet-potato Burger and a mousse as a dessert were perfect. Simply tasty.I was glad to get a vegan mousse. The prices were okay, for the very good quality and refines of the things.

The food is delicious! The staff is very friendly and very good organized. You don't have to wait a long time for service. Overall a bright and clean place. The servings could be a bit taller (could be a problem if you're very hungry) and it's not that cheap (for students). Anyway highly recommendable, definitely a place I'm going to visit more often! (reservation is useful).
