Pricey yes, but… Manhattan. And all delicious! - Edit
Perfect meal after 3-hour Amtrak ride. We enjoyed Hongos Quesadilla (with mushroom), Buffalo Flower (tempura’d cauliflower), Squash Soup and Mole Enchilada (with jackfruit “carnitas”).
Read morePros: Delightful food and very spicy sauces on side., Perfect very casual meal., Lots of daylight and city view.
Cons: Rather loud and chilly/drafty HVAC 4 us., Expensive.

Great Nachos - Edit
Ordered a few items via UberEATS before heading out to JFK for my flight. The nachos were my fav out of everything. Ordered an empanada that was pretty good as well.

Cute spot - Edit
Cute little restaurant inside Whole Foods with lovely staff. To echo other reviewers, the food was great but really expensive - I paid around $20 for the nachos without tax/gratuity 😭

Famished inside Whole Foods? Eat here.😉 - Edit
I personally love the combination of a casual, curated atmosphere with high-quality food, which this location of Jajaja delivers.

Relish the tres amigas ("guacamole, queso, and sikil pak dip served with corn chips"),
The Huevo Burrito (""Eggs", mushrooms, black beans, pico de gallo, guacamole, and chipotle aioli"),
and the Enchiladas Verde (Green tomato, serrano, palm carnitas, and coco queso served with Spanish rice).
and come back to get your regular dose of gourmet vegan Mexican food !😄

Expensive but tasty and a nice space - Edit
With the caveat that other reviewers are 100% right about it being very pricey for small portions, this is an enjoyable little spot. Sikil pak is worth going for in itself and the house hot sauce lineup was also nice. Rice side that came with the enchiladas was a bit of a miss for me, but the enchiladas plus sikil pak was more than enough food for me, and the person working the bar (missed your name sorry!) was super sweet.

Nice food but difficult to find - Edit
I enjoyed all the dishes I tried, however it was expensive for what was essentially a takeaway meal. It was also difficult to find in the whole foods.

Yummy food - Edit
I came here as so many friends have recommended this place, and it didn’t disappoint. I do agree with what others have said that the portions are small. I really enjoyed the sweet potato tacos and would definitely come back!

The food was tasty. We spent close to $100 for two to get full. We got served paper plates and plastic silverware in Whole Foods food court.

Taste of Mexico in NYC - Edit
JaJaJa was just delicious. Very flavourful, and authentic tasting. The portions were reasonable, not too large like I found most meals on my trip to the USA. I hate food waste so I’d rather a manageable amount of food, like at JaJaJa. Their margs are lethal also!

A wonderful selection of vegan delights, taste wise and service this is a solid 5, but we were still a bit hungry after spending $90 on three people.

Good food, but overpriced & hard to find. - Edit
We had a hard time finding it, as it wasn’t clear that it was inside the Whole Foods and GPS was trying to take us down the street and around the corner. We ordered tacos and a chard bowl. The chard was raw, which was fine I guess, but we definitely weren’t expecting that. The tacos were great, but for the price we thought there should have been 3 of them rather than 2. Overall, it’s not a bad place to grab a quick vegan meal, but I certainly would not recommend making a special trip here.

Scrumptious Mexican cuisine - Edit
I got so excited seeing the menu, my eyes were definitely bigger than my belly. The side of Mexican street corn was my favorite, then nachos, then churros, then my drink. I got the blackberry cooler and it tasted good but was so strong with alcohol I couldn’t finish it.

Inside Whole Foods - Edit
Meh. Finding this place inside a meat market and a horrific greenwashing one owed by Amazon (destroyers not defenders of) was upsetting. Food was mediocre, boring corporate crap, assembled from factory output by under compensated not vegan wage slaves, shocker.

Better than I expected - Edit
I didn’t expect much from this little place inside Whole Foods. I tried the Dinosaur kale bowl because it had a chili pepper next to it. 🌶️ It wasn’t very spicy but better than no spice at all. The sweet potato was prepared in a way that made them really savory and the coconut chips gave it a nice crunch. The dressing was a little sweeter than I like but adding a squeeze of lime helped. Overall a pretty good bowl and I might want to try their other locations.

I wish I could eat here every day 🌱 - Edit
Authentic Mexican flavors! I tried the verde enchiladas with coco queso. My friend couldn't eat them because she thought the filling (made of hearts of palm and jackfruit) was pork. They did that great of a job replicating the texture. We also tried the shiitake gorditas which they told us are not fried. The mole and hot sauces were so good.

Lovely churros - Edit
We had churros to go and it was delicious! My only complaint is that it’s too much waste in paper boxes and plastic forks and knives (specially for eating 4 churros!) I guess this is a major issue in nyc, but they could reduce the amount of wrapping to start the change.
