Hidden Gem - Edit
Located at the outskirts of East Village, this is a great juice bar that offers tasty food as well as delicious juices. On Tuesdays, they serve vegan sushi which was really good.

Fantastic organic Whole Foods! And delicious. The staff are so kind and really enjoy what they do. I’m taken back by how much I loved this little organic plant-based cafe. If you enjoy unprocessed vegan food, this is the place to stop by for breakfast or lunch!

The most delicious, fresh food in San Diego - Edit
This is a wonderful little eatery in East Village, walking distance from downtown. Everything is plant-based and the staff are helpful and friendly. I opted for the pesto vegetable toast with a pressed juice. The toasts come with plantain chips on the side which was a nice touch and super crunchy! I like it so much that I returned and ordered the same toast a couple of days later.
Read moreBeautifully packaged in a way you can easily take the food away, my only comment is that the toasts can get a bit messy to eat by hand so make sure you have some cutlery as a back up!
You know the food is good when you eat something seemingly simple and it nourishes you for hours.
A truly wholesome little cafe - I wish I had this beautiful resource closer to home!
Pros: Fresh, simply made but delicious food choices
Cons: Plastic cutlery cannot cut the toasts!

Fresh Delicious Food - Edit
The best toasts I’ve had in SD. My favorites is the Veggie Pesto, Spicy Black Beans, and the Red Hummus Parmesan. The açaí is one of the freshest I’ve had so far. They go the extra mile to make the food taste delicious.

My wife ordered an Acai bowl, and I got the Pitaya bowl. Both were delicious and so filling we took the Tempeh Toast we had planned to share home for a later meal. It was great as well with a generous portion. We're looking forward to our next visit to this sparklingly clean eatery located at the base of a brand new highrise in the up-and-coming East Village of downtown San Diego.
