Really nice vegan options.

Loved the yellow curry with yummy tofu strips and the fresh spring rolls.

Pros: Lots of veganizable items, Outdoor covered seating, Nice presentation

Cons: Restroom has only hand dryer & door pull handle, Peanut dipping sauce was too sweet for me

Good spot for lunch in Sellwood

Ingredients are listed on menu; still might not hurt to verify vegan. Our lunch was delicious. Between two of us, we split the soup, rice that came with, and papaya salad and still had leftovers to bring home. This is a popular place; we got in right before the lunch crowd.

Good vegan selection

Good outdoor seating, plenty of vegan options. Staff is knowledgeable about making dishes vegan. Everything our group of 4 ate had good flavor. Large rice portions!

I love this place

Small, family-owned, cafe-style restaurant. Counter service or to-go. They are willing to make almost anything on their menu vegan. Everything that I have tried is delicious, the sauces are out of this world. Papaya salad (with lemongrass tofu) and wide-rice noodles (no oyster sauce) are the BEST. The portions are large but there are so many options that everyone in your party will get what they want AND you’ll have leftovers for later. Yum!!

Pros: Almost everything on the menu can be made vegan, Most things are gluten-free

Favorite for fresh!

I go to Jade weekly. If you ask them to make it vegan, they know exactly what you’re talking about and do it right every time. Best salad rolls in Portland. Lemongrass tofu is also amazing.

Pros: Best salad rolls, Nice atmosphere

Cons: Not all vegan, Long lines (cuz it’s yum)

Go to for Take out!

This is a family favorite because we can find something for the whole family. They provide options for diet specific dishes. I usually get the the green beans with tofu, GF. The fried rice can also be made the same. The kids always find what they want and they are not vegan so this is a great place for large groups, as the menu and tables can accommodate upstairs and outside. They also have sesame balls that are vegan and GF. Yum!! They can often be crowded so If you want to avoid that, order 30 minutes ahead of time and choose Take Out.

Pros: Varied menu, option friendly, accommodates groups

Cons: long lines

I love everything at Jade! Almost all dishes can be made vegan, but you might have to confirm no oyster sauce if they forget to ask. They're generally really good about it, but they did forget once....out of the dozens of times that I have been there. Honestly this is one of my go-to restaurants. It's basically the best place in Sellwood for food.

Pros: Excellent Food, Good Value, Large Portions

Cons: Lunch rush can be VERY busy, Can never seem to reach them on the phone?

Tasty vegan options

I was very pleased to see the menu coded with "v" for vegan on many menu items. The service was fast and the food was tasty.
