Fine - Edit
There are two vegan entrees, the vegetable curry bowl and mustard seed tofu. I had the curry bowl, but altogether as usual for an Omni restaurant, the vegan options were an afterthought. I came with some Omni friends, which is why I came. I would have expected some hummus and pita for a Mediterranean place. The vegetable curry bowl was just fine, nothing special.

TRENDY VEGETARIAN/VEGAN OPTION IN THE HEART OF SOHO - Edit
In a nutshell:
Read moreA trendy health-driven restaurant cornering Prince & Lafayette that is a must "to be seen" and "see"!
THE GOOD
This restaurant is a fresh alternative to stuffy reservations-only restaurants where to watch good-looking and generally fashionably dressed passersby. Sure, you'll likely have to wait, but patience pays off here... if they tell you "20-30 minutes to be close by" you simply do because unless you're traveling with a whole theater cast and crew chances are they'll get you the next available table in way less than the estimated time!
THE BAD
I would say that the flavors are standard, this is my second visit, had a salad on my first visit (winter 2022) and the sauce was flat then. I enjoyed the spaghetti squash with the crispy tofu, in terms of visual presentation and textures but again, is a very bland proposition that can not be saved with their spicy sauce alone.
Perhaps it is standard nowadays for meals to be prepared unsalted but I remember the old good days when a chef or cook was able to condiment and salt a meal to such harmony that patrons did not have to "fix" or enhance anything. Perhaps their other non-vegan meals are tastier but of what is strictly vegan... well, the drinks are great!
THE BEST
I don't remember the music being memorable or cool if they were playing music at all, but it is a place to see and be seen that is the main reason to come. If you don't have dietary restrictions, the menu, and from what I witness from other patrons look deliciously promising, Goddess butter can make wonders!
Margarita Rocks do rock, order it with Patron silver or Don Julio it elevates an already bright drink. The hibiscus tea is a nice in-between to keep you warm when the sun sets down and does not mess with whatever alcoholic drink you're having.
The highlight is the Flourless Chipotle chocolate cake, a must for chocolate lovers (it is not Vegan). It actually rivals more expensive chocolate desserts from Italian and French restaurants close by. Rich, and luscious, it melts in your mouth and the fleur-de-sel gives your taste buds everything it craves and more! The only reason I did not order a second one, it was that I was already full and conscious of other patrons waiting for a seat. I love they never rush you, so long you keep consuming, they let you enjoy yourself without feeling pressured like at other restaurants. My waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu yet never pushing or selling dishes.
