My go to for a lunchtime treat - they do thai boxes to go with a vegan option each day - and in the evenings there’s a full menu. The tofu Panang is my absolute fave

Menus shown in Happycow photos are no longer accurate as Jack's now does Thai food with no vegan options (though you can possibly request a vegan stir fry at bar). Street food style menu with tacos, pizza, burgers, is no longer in operation sadly. Very chic space with a nice atmosphere, but only really any good for drinks - no longer very vegan friendly.

Was looking for somewhere for dinner with some colleagues from work and found this place on Happy Cow. Looks like an old fashioned, traditional London pub set in railway arches but serves predominantly Thai food. All curries and stir fry dishes have a tofu option for vegetarians and all of the stir fry can be made vegan by just asking the waiter when ordering (I asked about making the curry Vegan but they contain oyster sauce). The food was incredible and the atmosphere was great in there too.

Read morethere’s a lot i like about Jack‘s bar: one of only a few options in the area, this place knows what vegan is about and even offers an own menu! choices sound excellent and my tacos definitely tasted amazing, too! very different from all tacos/mock meat things i’ve eaten before. very rich in taste! my friend loved her veggie burger (and she usually eats meat!). fries were seasoned and delicious!

the place has a great atmosphere, even seems a little upper class. definitely a great spot for a date night (whether it’s your partner or best friend) :)
cocktails were excellent and as it was mid-week, they had a two for one offer!
will definitely come again!

This place is amazing. The head chef is vegan so they have a whole vegan menu and the quality is great - high quality pizza (with vegan cheese and vegan meats), tacos, burgers etc. I only had the pizza but saw the tacos and they looked amazing too. Highly recommend.

Read moreIt's a bar atmosphere for sure - it was fairly loud with the customers and there was smoking on the patio (which is completely open to the restaurant). We got 1 of each taco, the burger and oregano fries. We were very happy with the food. A bit on the smaller side for portions but prices reflect that.
Pros: really tasty, flavourful food, vegan alternatives for cheese, sausage, etc
