Excellent! - Edit

Everything you see in cabinet is what's on offer for the day. All handmade. An array of sides, mains and desserts. Was excellent! Small eating area not really sit down restaurant style, more deli like. Very very reasonably priced! And homemade vegan Nutella to take home!

Pros: cheap, vegan, Nutella

Cozy nice little deli-style restaurant - Edit

It was really nice to find this great place in old town. Unfortunately I can't speak Italian, but the owners were happy to explain several dishes to me in English. It's deli-style with a few chairs to sit there or you can take out. It's fine and welcoming if you're there alone.

Pros: Great selection of local food veganized, very friendly owners, welcoming

Cons: n/a

Great local spot - Edit

I loved this place. Just stopped by at the end of the day. But the folk in there are very friendly. Good array of foods, some really interesting bits and pieces and lovely puddings too. Go by and give it a try. I loved it.

Pros: Variety of food , Freshness , Professional staff

Filling Dinner - Edit

I ate here in the evening before he closed. I asked for a mixed plate of what he still had. First was a salad then a warm plate. The owner has different dishes at the counter that you can choose from and then he heats them in an oven [not a microwave] or you takeaway. There are a few seats inside.

Pros: Good food, friendly and welcoming, vegan information

BEST FIND THIS TRIP! - Edit

After a long drive from south of spain througsh france to italy and living out of what we could make in the car. The food here gave us the much needed energy to tackle to carry on. We arrived as the owner was closing up and I more then expected him to turn us away. After brief hesitation and me sliding in the word "Vegan?" The man lit up in a huge grin and over the next half hour we talked. Such a kind man with so many things to share. In the end we walked away with a very resonably price bag of everything he had available and a whole wealth of knowledge about the local area. The food is priced by weight and heaped out into containers that are placed on a scale. Many times we where asked if we were satisfied, Price quantity and flavor. The food is amazing from simple dishes to things I have never tasted along my 5 year vegan journey (the owner has been vegan 4 years and vegetarian for 26) everything is made daily in house, by the looks of it the menu changes from day to day.

Unfortunately I dont see how this amazing place will be able to stay in business, so enjoy it while its here and support grwat local food for a good cause!

Ask the owner about the cause :) sure it will spark up some inspirational conversation

Pros: great local food, good people

Cons: Ironic location -note the statue on righ

a must place to go in genova! - Edit

walking along my favorite street in genova i found this wonderful place - jaa nu! after a very long conversation with the owner i was sure ill have to go back and try the very tasty looking dishes. the place is small with a few places to sit but its worth! the food is delicious of a great quality ingredients and prepader with elaboration. its local and seasonal. i have tried many different dishes (with eggplant another with chickpeas also rice balls and more...) and then i had a gluten free cake - all really delicious. it was very cheap for the portions and quality. i hope they will grow and will have more and more customers!

Pros: delicious food, great atmosphere, cheap!

Cons: small with just few places to seat
