What a hidden gem in Markleeville, Ca!

Sandy’s welcome was as warm as the fire she had going in the wood burning stove. Her small restaurant was such a surprise! She had not one but 3 incredibly creative and delicious vegan options and 2 vegetarian options. Markleeville has approximately 200 people in it and yet we managed to stumble on this little goldmine! We had her homemade vegan cheeseburger with avocado on a fresh roll, curry roasted cauliflower and cherry roasted delicate squash with vegan chorizo. They were all presented beautifully and tasted dive! We’ll have to go back and try her mushroom soup and homemade Mac and cheese!

Pros: Felt like Sandy’s own home, The food was nutritious and delicious , Sandy had a way of making us feel like family!
