Great vegan Ice cream! - Edit
There were 2 vegan ice cream options - choc. peanut butter and pound cake blueberry swirl (basically blueberry pie and ice cream). I could not tell the type of plant based milk that was used in the ice cream, it tasted like real ice cream! Both were very good. There were also two sorbet options that were vegan. The line was very long and out the door when I arrived, but we didn’t wait for more than 15 minutes to get our ice cream. Really great place and located right next to a park. I recommend giving it a visit.

Decent ice cream - Edit
Had blueberry and banana crunch when I was there. The blueberry was decent but rather sweet. The banana crunch was really artificial tasting. Was a little disappointed due to the hype this place gets.

Nice non-dairy frozen treats - Edit
On this sunny and hot Sunday afternoon, the line for Izzy's snaked out the shop and around the corner - but it was worth the wait. Admittedly, there was only 1 non-dairy ice "cream" option (chocolate made with coconut milk) but there were 2 scrumptious sorberts as well (grapefruit and guava).

Sorbet, so good! - Edit
The non-dairy options are clearly marked. The night I was here it seems that only the sorbets were non-dairy, but that's good enough for me. Ask for the gluten free waffle cone, which is also vegan unlike the standard waffle cone.

Decent - Edit
Izzy's is finally in Minneapolis. Decent vegan ice cream option. My favorite is the soy peanut butter. I have had most of the soy flavors now: strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, peanut butter, and chocolate. One time the blueberry had the consistency of taffy. I was able to return it. The flavors change regularly, so check the website to see what they have. Buying pints in the freezer case is cheaper than buying a cone; get two spoons and share.
