I LOVED Ivy's, but it has shut down. One of the owners passed away and the other closed the doors. Very sad to see this wonderful restaurant close it's doors.

A Terrific option for the whole family - Edit
My family (vegan, vegetarian, and meat-eating members) went here over Easter weekend and had a terrific experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was cozy and intimate. The food was delicious and in good portions. The location in proximity to downtown Chesterton is also inviting for a stroll after lunch. This is our new favorite spot in Chesterton.

Delicious food and Great Atmosphere - Edit
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Northwest Indiana. and I would give it 5 stars if this app would allow it. I love the dolmates appetizer, falafel plate, boho salad, the vegan crab cakes, bean burger and cavatappi pasta. Also sometimes there are vegan specials which have always been good. Just ask for the vegan menu and if there are any vegan specials. They often have a vegan desert as well. I love the atmosphere inside and there is outdoor dining available during nicer weather. Highly recommended!

Delicious Different Vegan Options - Edit
Cute spot in downtown Chesterton. They have a separate Vegan menu. I really enjoyed the vegan crab cakes with remoulade, green beans & fries. Perfect portion. Non-vegan family had crab & lobster ravioli & gnocchi with pesto. They let us know they originally made cheese tortellini instead of the gnocchi we ordered and gave both dishes for leftovers. Very nice staff. Will be back!

If you are vegan, don't go here - Edit
We ordered off of the vegan menu and stated we were vegan multiple times, and were brought gluten free food instead. She didn't realize her mistake until we were ordering entrees, after we had already eaten appetizers. She apparently didn't understand the difference between gluten free and vegan. We ended up just leaving because we couldn't trust any of the food at that point. All we got was a sorry, hope you don't get sick. Legitimately the most stressful and awful dining experience I've had in my life. Restaurants should not have a vegan menu if the staff doesn't know the difference between vegan and gluten free.

This place was phenomenal! We got the vegan spinach artichoke dip, bruschetta, and blt with avocado and we were just blown away. Absolutely recommend to anyone looking for quality vegan food.

got the gnocchi marinara and it was delicious and obviously homemade gnocchi, with a filling portion size for a gnocchi dish! came with toasted bread, no butter! with garlic seasoning
limited options for desert/bakery items but they had made a new batch of vegan cookies and were kind enough to offer me one on the house after i chatted with the owner about vegan baking
i didn't try any but they do offer gF options as well
Pros: large portion size, filling vegan options, kind wait staff
Cons: more non veg then veg options, more pricey side

I forgot to take photos but their food was amazing, they have their own vegan menu and a vegan special. We had the spinach and artichoke dip, gnocchi, and the special was vegan pomorado pasta with roasted veggies and angel hair! So good! Highly recommend.

Truly enjoyed today's lunch of falafel with hummus and Nonnie's salad with fruit. Beautiful day to sit on the back patio. The restaurant had clearly identified vegan and gluten free options. Glad we found!
