Service was not very good we ordered our food and some people came in about 15 minutes after us got there food the same time as us. Our food sat on the counter waiting for the hostess/waitress to get our food to bring it to the table. The food comes in to go containers and they give you plastic silverware (which I’m okay with) but I was unable to cut my hamburger in half to eat. Food was okay not something I would drive out of the way to eat or even drive 5 minutes to get to.

My partner and I had the country fried steak with their mac and cheese. I struggled to finish it, they do NOT skimp on the chicken patties (came with 2 per serving). SO delicious, very high quality sietan chicken with crispy breading. Heard a chorus of crunch while cutting into it, which was telling of how scrumptious it was going to be. There was no "gluten" taste I've gotten used to with sietan. Perfectly spiced with great texture. The mac and cheese was saucy and a tad spicy, more like a buffalo mac, very good. Came with a flavorful gravy and corn bread.

The bun was toasted and the sietan patty was once again a generous size. He had a side of seasoned fries which were crisped to perfection. I had to have a bite- wow! It wasn't just a repeat of the country fried steak, it had its own flavor and it was hard to not steal his burger.
We will definitely be coming back here during our stay and if we are ever in the area again. Cannot recommend this place enough.

We’ve only been here twice as we were traveling through. Everything was excellent. This trip we had the Salisbury steak and the fried chickn. Sides in addition to the mashed potatoes were greens, Mac n cheese, and candied yams. And those corn muffins! Everything was well seasoned and made in house. My only regret is it is so much food I couldn’t manage dessert. They have a sized down menu due to COVID so no cobbler was available this trip but they do make outstanding peach cobbler.

The Mac and cheese and waffles were soo dang good!! I had chicken and waffles with a side of Mac.. the chicken wasn’t bad but was a little to thick and tough for my tastes

My husband and I drove over 45 minutes to come here. They were out of mac n cheese and greens, leaving the only sides mashed potatoes, fries or yams. I ordered the chicken dinner and while it was good, the potatoes could have had gravy. It was pretty dry and way too much potato product. The music inside was really loud and the sustainability aspect is completely missed. I always find it crazy to go to an all vegan place that uses styrofoam and plastic for serving - even for dine in. Would definitely try this place again but it didn’t blow me away.

The first time I came here it the service was disappointing and I left before getting served. I waited about a year and tried it again. The Wonton Nachos are pretty good. But the service hasn’t changed. And everything was served in styrofoam and plastic flatware.

We had the chicken plate with mac & cheese and greens and the wonton nachos, and we loved every minute of it. The mac was hands-down the best anywhere! We had heard all the hype about the wonton nachos and were not disappointed. How genius is it to use wontons vs chips?? And that guac sauce on top. My oh my.

The Best Food In Dallas - Edit
I’ve been staying in Dallas for the past week, and I’ve already eaten here on three separate occasions. The food is perfect! It’s everything that I’ve wanted and more. I even purchased one of their cool t-shirts since I want more people to find this hidden gem.

The food here is really good. A lot of it is heavily fried. The atmosphere is chill and laid back. The only reason I can't drop a fifth star is the oddly high prices.

Out and about, and we searched for a vegan restaurant for a late lunch/early dinner. Itso Vegan looked interesting, and close to our destination, so we gave it a try - REALLY GLAD WE DID!
Read moreThe staff was super friendly and helpful, and we even talked about what was in each dish that we ordered. When I mentioned I liked one of the staff's t-shirts, he said they have them for sale too. They are awesome!
We each got a sampler, so we could get a good idea overall. DELICIOUS and exactly what they said they offer - vegan comfort food. Based on the Itso Sampler, I would definitely recommend it. But, also, as part of the sampler, I would recommend the chicken fried steak (or not chicken fried steak), and the street tacos.
For sure, do not miss the strawberry cheesecake for desert! SUPER YUMMY!
The atmosphere is contemporary, comfortable, and fun; and the musical selection is too. A great place for a couple, to eat by yourself, or with a group.
Will definitely be back when we are in this part of the Metroplex!

I read there wasn’t enough seasoning on other reviews but still decided to try it out and it is delicious!! Definitely amazing flavors in the burrito and chicken and waffles! The nachos looked amazing too!!! We loved it!!!

Excellent service! Wonton nachos were delicious- try v-luxe. My non vegan partner had the Salisbury steak and ate it all, portion was small for him and taste was okay. I had the fried chicken dinner, the chicken was good but the mashed potatoes were not fresh tasting and the gravy was not my favorite. Corn bread also not my favorite. The soda choices and fries were great though! Wish I could give a better review but the food to me just was lacking in taste.

Definitely the worst vegan restaurant I have been to. Food was oily, under seasoned, and expensive. I went with two other people who did not get what they ordered. Ordered a side of cheese sauce that was never brought to the table, but remained on the tab. It was difficult to get it removed from the tab. The restaurant seemed to lack air conditioning too. Service was mediocre (e.g. constantly needing drink refills and not receiving them). I even saw a waitress drop food from an order and use her bare hands to place it back on the plate to be taken out to the table.

ITSO Vegan has an all vegan menu, artistic & modern vibe, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Our food was ready quickly and the staff was very attentive. We ordered the V-Lux Nachos, Chicken & Waffle Sandwich with fries, Country Fried Chicken plate with fries & mashed potatoes, and the Sampler Plate. Everything was delicious! Great quality food & meat alternatives. Life long vegetarian, meat eater and kid approved!
