Tried for the first time last night and sooo glad we did. Food tasted incredible and what a treat to have so many options as a vegan plus dishes with vegan chicken and sausage in yaaaas!

Italia Uno is on the opposite side of the city to where I live, but it’s worth the trip every time. The vegan selection is amazing and imaginative, the food is always perfect and the service is great!

Went to Italia uno to eat in and was not disappointed. The staff were fantastic, really friendly, approachable and knowledgeable about vegetarian and vegan food, as well as catering for meat eaters too. This is the type of place where no matter what your needs, you can go with absolutely anyone and find yourself some good quality, flavoursome grub. I had the vegan gnocchi with carbonara sauce, and it was the tastiest food I've eaten for a very long time! My partner had a margarita pizza which I was told was home made including the base, and it was far better quality than most. If you haven't been here, you don't know what you're missing! Reasonable prices too, I for one will be visiting again very soon :)

Best Italian food in Sheffield Vegan or otherwise - Edit
Have ordered takeaway from here once when it opened and were impressed. Today (22 May 2016) our small family went to the takeaway to eat in (well we ate at the table outside as the weather was great). We were impressed again by the large number of vegan options available in a separate vegan menu, served by a very friendly newly vegan proprietor. Food was delish, very affordable (2 adults, 3 courses each and a bottle of wine plus coffee for under £35), very accommodating to our needs with a young baby... and dessert was immense. We often eat Italian out in Sheffield and reckon this is our fav and by far the most vegan friendly. We will be going/ordering again. If I could I would give it 5 cows, but 4 is the max here for a non-vege specific place :)

Great to find a separate vegan menu here. Staff are really friendly and very welcoming. We sat inside for our pizza, there are a few tables but it is predominantly a takeaway/delivery place. Both my daughter and I had pizzas, great to find vegan cheese on offer and the base was the best we've ever had. We also took away some delicious vanilla cake. We will definitely be going back, the gnocchi is next in the list to try :)
