Great! - Edit

My boyfriend thought that the tofu was real chicken because the texture, taste and seasoning were perfect. The whole foods are so healthy and had some plants that aren't always easy to find (okra.) One small box could feed two people. Delicious, would definitely go back.

Huge portions, healthy choices - Edit

Two people could share one box lunch, probably. We really enjoyed our meal, left feeling not only full but fully nourished.

Amazing food - Edit

Ital Vital has the best food in the market.
The small box is perfect for a lunch or dinner, the large can last for two meals. They are huge portions with so much flavour, relatively healthy and lots of good ingredients.
If you are looking for a quick meal in Kensington Market, this is the place to go. It’s great for takeaway or there are a few seats in the shop.
Be warned they can run out of food before the posted closing times.

Pros: Large portions, Soy BBQ, Family business

Cons: Prices have just gone up, Run out of food

Great Affordable Vegan Food with Variety - Edit

Great Affordable variety of Caribbean vegan food!

How it works: You can either choose a large or small size. We chose large. For the large you get your choice of one base carb, choice of 4 sides, BBQ soy curls fritter.

Large: $18 : One carb, choice of 4 sides, BBQ soy curls, fritter

Small: $12 : One carb, choice of 2 sides, BBQ soy curls, fritter

We aren't sure if the options rotate or if they stay the same.

Carb Options: Noodles, Rice or Quinoa (you can choose a mix or just one)

Side Options: Curry Chickpeas, Okra, Kidney beans, Greens, Curry squash

BBQ soy curls

Fritter

Optional: Add Salad

Other offerings: cookies, scones, pineapple or cheese filled turnover and Juices (orange ginger was suggested)

The food was very delicious just as the reviews suggests. However it does not photograph well lol.

The staff was hugely helpful and friendly.

It was a small shop with only a small amount of parking in the front (enough for two cars).

Pros: Huge variety , Chipotle style vegan Caribbean food, Great flavor at an affordable price

Cons: Small shop with no seating

Fave vegan spot in Toronto - Edit

Variety of options -- all good!

Their famous item is the BBQ mock meat, but my favourite items are the butter beans and eggplant.

Everything is fresh so be mindful that they can sellout during the lunch rush (and may need time to finish cooking/re-stocking). If you go near closing they might be out of many items (or close early if they sell out of food).

Pros: Fresh and not oily, Good value

Cons: Small/limited seating (but clean and maintained)

Jamaican Vegan delights - Edit

Incredible taste.
Very big portions.
Kind of too caloric for me, not suggested for those who watch their calories.

Pros: Delicious, Big portions

great food! - Edit

Went for a late lunch today, and the selection was a main with a hot table. It was empty when I got there but in the time I ate about 8 people in multiple parties cycled through.

obviously made with love! - Edit

Yum yum yum!! Great price for a huge amount of food. I liked everything I tried! The lady there was really nice and gave us a few samples to try. I got the small box and couldn't finish it :) saving it for a midnight snack. For dessert I got the raspberry lemon juice, wow, what a treat. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Toronto!

Pros: cheep , fast, filling and delish

Cons: not in Sarnia :) , not much seating but I really enjoyed sitting outs

one of the best in town! - Edit

Price is really decent! 10 $ with 3 toppings for a small box, 15$ for 4 toppings for a large box. Personally the small one was enough for two lunches.
Food is great as well, they had a good variety of different Jamaican and Carribean food!
Staff was pretty friendly! Will definitely go back!

Great Food with Fantastic Portions - Edit

This place offers two boxes at $10 and $15 (tax incl) of an assortment of rice, beans, BBQ soy, vegetable stew, alongside some premium salad options such as kale, arugula, and avocado. I got the smaller $10 box and was amazed to find that it was HUGE! Truly, it's hard to get these portions at these prices in the city, and the food was amazing too. I highly recommend you check it out!
