Great vegan Bento option - Edit
We bought very nice vegan bentos to eat on the bullet train later that day. The bentos themselves tasted good and were quite large for the ¥800.
Read moreThere is nowhere to eat inside, it's only a takeaway shop. You need to call in advance to order.
The shop is a 20 minute walk from the station but is near some tourist attractions.
Pros: Very filling, Cheap, Tasty
Cons: Not near the train station

Delicious vegan bento - Edit
This store offers a delicious vegan bento on request (call 45 mins in advance to order). The bento they prepared for us included vegan sweet and sour pork, seaweed, pickled vegtables, and rice. The serving size was generous and price very reasonable (less than 1000yen). Much recommended.
