We ate here several years ago and loved it, many great vegan options.
Read moreI just spoke with the owner (4/5/2024), their lease was not renewed and had to close.
He is looking for another location to reopen someday.

Delicious food with great views - Edit
Large and delicious portions. We had the fried eggplant appetizer (ate it before we remembered we didn’t take a picture), falafel platter and falafel plate. There are at least 2 dozen marked vegan options

Many Vegan Options - Edit
Great menu with many clearly labeled vegan options. I had the Falafel Plate and it was super tasty with a great plethora of foods included. The owner was very nice and knowledgeable about veganism, as he has family members who are vegan. Also located right on the Hollywood Beach Boardwalk with a really great view of the ocean.

Nice February evening meal - Edit
Like the red lentil soup. The owner didn't write down our order and had to keep checking with us to make sure he had it right. Beautiful presentation of the grilled vegetable plate. Too much oil for me on the grilled vegetable plate.

Tons of marked vegan options and the waitstaff is knowledgeable about being vegan. The owner was so kind and took great care of us! Flavorful food and location is great.

Cranky and Rude owner - Edit
The older man, assume he’s the owner, was extremely RUDE. Neither he or the waiter ever came back to check on us and the place was NOT busy at the time. I will Never go back there. My vegan dish was swimming in oil. 🤮 The older man said his sin is vegan when I asked about vegan items. I wish his son was there to communicate with me. Hopefully he would be nicer.

Frozen vegetables - Edit
I ordered a roasted vegetable entree for $22 and received what looked identical to a Birds Eye Asian vegetable mix. Complained to the waiter and they did not argue disagree with the fact that they were frozen veggies and did not care.

Awesome Service - Edit
I had the falafel sandwich and hummus appetizer which was fantastic. The owner (I think) his son is vegan and once you mention you're vegan he has so many suggestions. It was such a friendly and accommodating atmosphere and they made an effort to make me feel right at home. I definitely will be back.

On the beach - Edit
The best thing about this place is the fact that it's right on the beach. I ordered a falafel platter with hummus and a salad to go, and ate it sitting on the sand in front of the water. The food was tasty and fresh.

I’ve eaten here at least a half a dozen times. Vegetarian platters include: Hummus, baba ganoush, eggplant, and more. Quite tasty! They also have a delicious lentil soup. Vegans will be quite satisfied.

Most of the appetizers and salads can be made completely vegan by omitting the cheese and dairy products.

Boring and Unimaginative Overall - Edit
Red lentil soup is boring, uninspired, and overpriced. Spinach/cheese dish was awash in oil. Vegan options are extremely limited. Nothing here to write home about and certainly nothing worth returning for.

Only a few began options, but what we had was good. There is not much for vegans on the boardwalk, so this is your best bet. Mediterranean food.
