Not often do I find vegan gyoza but there are two such places in central Kobe. This one, 5 minutes walk from the Sannomiya stations, was easier to find than the one in Chinatown. Isogami Gyoza Bar has several types of vegan gyoza but the filling did seem to be rather the same in each of the three types I selected. What was different was the toppings and I highly rate the one with finely sliced perilla (shizo) on top. Quantites were modest (4 or 5 gyoza of each type) but 3 sets was enough for lunch.

Delicious gyoza - Edit
We tried 4 different kinds of vegan gyoza and they were all very tasty. We might skip the spicy tomato ramen next time as it wasn't anything special. Overall a very good experience as staff was friendly and service was good, though a tad slow.

Perfect location, I was changing trains in Sannomiya and took the chance for a walk to this restaurant for delicious grilled gyoza. I was happy to try three different types and they were all excellent. My favourite was the one with pickled plum and perilla.

Separate Vegan menu 😁. Food was delicious, service was excellent. We ordered Miso Ramen, Miso Gyoza and Spicy Gyoza. The Spicy Gyoza were absolutely delicious! All the food was great, but those Gyoza stood out the most. Would happily go back!

Non parlano inglese, abbiamo aspettato diverso tempo davanti alla porta prima che ci facessero sedere perchè forse avevano da fare, non avevano nemmeno sparecchiato il bancone dove ci hanno fatto accomodare quindi le premesse ci hanno lasciati un po' perplessi... Alla fine invece si sono rivelati gentili nonostante le barriere linguistiche e il cibo era buono! Consigliato

The food was fast and delicious, and and the price was reasonable, too. I ordered the spicy ramen and bean sprout gyoza (5 pieces). I’ll probably go back tomorrow to try something different. They have an entire vegan menu that is prepared separately from the non vegan food. I love places like this where you can go with non vegan friends and family and have something for everyone. There is a vegan wine menu as well.

Not common seen to have many gyoza options as vegan. I tried the burning green onions gyoza, looks fun to see the fire burning, and then you need to push the onions aside to get it “cook” a bit as well. The taste is good, but might be due to fire burning ingredients, if you using the dipping surrounding the gyoza, it might taste a bit strong alcohol taste.

Had a wonderful dinner with lots of great options that were vegan. My family was able to get fish and meat options and I was able to get what I wanted. Not easy to find vegetarian use so super pleased. Everything was delicious!

Had to go with a group of non vegan colleagues and this place was perfect. They have a full vegan menu with similar items as the non vegan menu. Food is delicious and great selection of wine.
