Yummy falafel sandwich - Edit
Hands down my favorite falafel sandwich on the island. We try and eat from there every Thursday evening.

The vegan options are limited, and it's a bit of a trek if you're not already on the windward side. But I'd make that trek anyday for their falafel and omg that hot sauce. Absolutely worth the trip!

Read moreI was directed to all vegan-friendly items on the menu and decided on the falafel plate with pita ($13.00), hummus and falafel with pita ($9.00). Every thing was flavorful and the portions were great - I shared the plate and hummus with my keiki. The service was great and there was some outdoor seating available. They also offer a vegan-friendly smoothie which I will have to try next time ($7.00).

It's so hard to find good vegan food in Kailua. I normally get Thai food, so this was a great option for me tonight! The food was yummy. I got the falafel plate and I'm very full.... I couldn't even finish the whole thing. Each plate comes with pita so I basically made two big falafel sandwiches! My only critic is that I wish it had more hummus.... I would order an extra side of hummus.

Best falafel on island - Edit
The falafel pita is what dreams are made of. This little truck comes to Kailua a couple days during the week and is part of my weekly stop. So freaking good!!!! Also stopped by at their location near Sandy’s on the side of the road - beware it’s hard to see them coming from Kailua side as they’re parked around a corner. Well worth it.

Exceptional falafel. No dairy! - Edit
So glad I found this food truck and will definitely be on the lookout for them again. The falafel was fresh and flavorful, as well as all the toppings. Owner confirmed the falafel and pita are vegan and there's absolutely no dairy on the truck so no need to order without cheese/yogurt!! The only vegan entree is falafel which can be ordered in a pita sandwich or plate style. Some sides are vegan like hummus and salad.
