Great food! Charged $4 extra to add a few bits of mushroom into the soup which isn’t great but inflation is guess. There’s something charming about this restaurant that is hard to put into words. And the town! The town is incredible. Must see!

I love this little island gem. Finally, vegan pho within our town! The vegetable spring rolls are my favorite. But the tofu and noodles were also so delicious. It’s a comfortable atmosphere and kind staff. We can’t wait for more. Also placed a to-go order too!

Amazing vegan Pho!! - Edit
I had found this restaurant on Happy Cow and knew I wanted to stop here one day when we were kayaking on Matlacha. And I was not disappointed. I have only had vegan pho (at a different restaurant)one other time and it was underwhelming. This, on the other hand, had tons of veggies, delicious broth and the always delightful Sriracha to add for desired heat level. Would definitely recommend stopping in Island Pho & Grill for a change from the typical seafood joints out in that area.

My husband and I (both long time vegans) went to Island Pho for lunch today after seeing this establishment recently added to Happy Cow as having options for vegans. The place is very cute and cozy and seemed to have a regular lunch crowd. We were greeted by a pleasant gentleman and I asked him if they would be able to prepare vegan dishes and he said many options for vegans and everything was custom cooked to order. He suggested the veggie spring rolls as an app and menu item N8, sauteed vegetables and tofu which we both ordered. The veggie spring rolls were delicious and I love that they put a bottle of sriracha on every table. Our lunch came in massive bowls filled with rice noodles, lettuce, tons of fresh veggies and the most delicious pan seared tofu we have tasted. Do not miss the jasmine ice tea, it is delightful. We were so impressed with the care taken in preparing our meal, the authentic flavors and excellent service. Before leaving our server told us that they can make many other dishes for us and even have a vegan pho broth which we will try next time. Overall just loved this place and since we live close by plan to come back often.
