I’ve tried both the nada beef and veggie lover and in my opinion they’re just okay. I used to love this place when I was a vegetarian but the vegan options just aren’t great. The rice and beans are so good though as well as the tostones so it’s kind of worth it for that but the empanadas are kinda pricey to not be satisfying.

Yummy empanadas - Edit
I went here with some meat eating friends, and it’s a great place to go. I tried both vegan empanadas (nada beef and veggie lover) and both were delicious. I liked the nada beef a little better than the veggie lover. I also got the tostones and they were nice and crispy!

Really awesome vegan empanadas - Edit
They have two options for vegan. One is beyond beef based, which doesn't have that weird beyond beef flavor because they season it very well. They also have one that has a medley of veggies that's arguably better! Plus the sides of rice and beans and plantains are so good you can have them on their own and you would be satisfied.
