We went later in the day so there wasn’t as much choice as there probably would have been earlier, but we still got some delicious empanadas! I’m very glad I found this place and I’d definitely go back!

Great selection of baked goods. Vegan croissants, cruffins, cinnamon rolls etc. ended up getting something everyday. Always at in. Just note, no toilet.

Finding Isla Vegana truly felt like discovering a hidden gem at the edge of the world. I’m honestly amazed that a fully vegan spot like this exists somewhere so remote — it made the experience feel even more special.

It’s such a comforting and unexpected find in Ushuaia, especially before heading off on a cruise. Already looking forward to coming back once we return.

All vegan cafe. Lots of options; hot drinks, bakery items, lunch options. We went in for a hot chocolate and snack. I had a lemon muffin, which was very good! The hot chocolate was good after being out on a cold boat trip. Just remember to give it a good stir!

They sold a small selection of vegan gifts and souvenirs. Just a note, they dont have a bathroom and no WiFi.
So glad we found it as there was limited dairy free/ vegan snack/ dessert options in Ushuaia. Highly recommend!

I was really glad I was able to pass by Isla Vegana during my short stay at Ushuaia as they had the best vegan empanadas I've tried so far! The place is really cozy and I do recommend you to visit whenever in town.

You must go to Isla Vegana while visiting Ushuaia! There is so much variety (sweet and savoury), the food is full of flavour, and it is all freshly made on-site. They staff are super friendly and helpful too, providing recommendations of their favourites 😍
Read moreWe ate here three times while in Ushuaia and even took some food to go and eat at our hotel. We had the vegetable quiche(delicious), the tomato and herb quiche (made with chickpea flour), croissants, apple flan, focaccia isla sandwich (delicious! highly recommend), calzone, and the choripan (which is like a sausage sandwich). The menu items are available only until 3 pm. They will also heat up all the premade quiches, empanadas, etc., for you to eat in or takeaway.
Note: There is no table service, WiFi, or toilets here.

A big light during my travels in Argentina - Edit
I was so happy, to find something vegan to eat finally. And it was so delicious and the staff was wonderful, so I came two days in a row, brought friends and bought even for further travelling days. And super yummy coffee with Almond milk!

Muitas opções! Ficamos alguns dias em Ushuaia e todos os dias comemos lá, exceto no domingo porque não abrem, mas aí pegamos um sanduíche e um wrap no dia anterior. Provamos fainá, torta, sopa paraguaya, entre outros. O alfajor é de outro mundo!!!! Nota 10.
