Delicious Vegan Dishes

Lots of delicious vegan options including sushi, spring rolls, teriyaki tofu, poke bowl. Nice family oriented atmosphere. One of the best spots in Midland for a restaurant vegan meal. #Veganuary

Pros: Great friendly and fast service, Well accustomed to catering for vegans

Great service and super fresh!

Came here with my parents the other day, me and mum ordered the tofu salad, however because the salad dressing wasn’t vegan the chef specially made up a substitute vegan dressing which was awesome. My mum isn’t vegan but she thorough enjoyed the tofu salad with the vegan dressing too! Our waiter was incredibly attentive and was willing to go above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. Definitely a little gem in midland. Would have given 5 stars however happy cow does not allow this for omni restaurants.

Pros: Fresh, Presentation and taste of food , Service

Absolutely delicious traditional Japanese

This is our favourite Japanese restaurant we’ve ever come across. We eat here at the least weekly if not more and we are always delighted, and never disappointed. The staff are wonderful, helpful and knowledgeable about veganism. The restaurant has a really lovely decor and is a great option when eating out with non-vegan friends and family. We love the tofu teriyaki bento box, yummo!

Pros: Delicious food, Brilliant staff, knowledgeable too, Lovely restaurant

Cons: Doesn’t have a huge variety of options, but the vegan options they do have are great

Traditional Japanese

There are few vegan and vegetarian options on the menu at Ishikya, but what they lack with range they compensate with deliciously cooked meals.
The staff were wonderful and very friendly to notify if there was any animal products (sushi had egg mayonnaise) or to help us adjust items - Agedashi tofu was made with a teriyaki sauce instead and was phenomenal!!!!!!
A really great spot if you’re looking for traditional Japanese with no mock options available.

Pros: Delicious food, Friendly, helpful staff, Able to adjust meals to cater for vegan

Cons: Not a huge range of vegetarian options
