Isana offers a dedicated vegan menu with delicious, high-quality food, making it a great choice for a night out. While it’s on the pricier side, the food is tasty and far surpasses the quality of food trucks. The atmosphere is inviting, though vegans might want to avoid sitting at the sushi bar where fish preparation is on display.

A big bonus: Isana stays open two hours later than most restaurants in Kihei.

Isana is a nice restaurant, friendly staff, good atmosphere and a decent vegan selection on a separate menu. The sushi is not comparable to what you get in vegan sushi restaurants all over the world but still tasty and versatile. A good spot for an island like Maui with limited dining options for vegans.

Great option for vegan/vegetarian fare - Edit
We ordered off the vegan/vegetarian menu as well as the regular menu. Some items on the regular menu are fully vegan, but for some reason not listed on the vegan menu. They have 2 great rolls, edamame, fried rice, and other options. The staff all seemed well informed on the vegetarian or vegan options so when we asked they pointed everything out for us or offered to make other accommodations, which was very nice.
