Vegan taco options - Edit
Updated review: After I left them a Google review last year pointing out they had items listed under their "vegan" section that weren't actually vegan (I was clued in by one listing honey in the ingredients), they responded they would address that at their next menu update and they did. Now, things are clearly labeled vegetarian or vegan. I'm glad I was able to bring about this change, though it's sad I had to notice and bring to the restaurants attention the definition of vegan when they were wrongfully promoting a not- entirety vegan "vegan" menu. Now that these changes have been made, though, I've eaten there many times by picking up my order in person or eating in house. My favorites are the "Tammy" and "Vince". I still don't trust delivery as I've been handed the wrong order at pick-up and was lucky I noticed it wasn't mine.
Read moreI have been to irmas tacos on a few occasions. Sometimes with plant-based company and sometimes with someone who eats SAD (Standard American Diet). When dining in, we have enjoyed our experience. We have stopped ordering from this restaurant as they've messed up delivery orders each time- sometimes meaning the recipient can't eat it.

As far as I can tell, they use separate pans for vegan tacos - ask to make it clear. I've tried several on the menu tacos with the dairy subs on the side. Raw shreds of vegan cheese do not do anything for me - melt/broil it. cold vegan cheese out of the bag with no prep? The chipotle veganaise was pretty good. The tacos without the dairy subs were great. I got flour tortillas. I got the ophelia, sean and tammy. Never had impossible anything, but the prep was good. They appear to be trying. I'll stop by for a beer and a taco whenever I'm nearby. Give it a shot and please write a better review than this.
