yum!

Very tasty! I got the veggie (not raw) burger and it was very good! The only downside to the dish was the side salad was coated in oil and I'm just personally not a huge oil fan.

Fantastic food, fantastic service

Really easy to find. Warm and welcoming reception as soon as you arrive. Menu selection is not huge, but every dish is exquisite. Also serves beers, wines and cocktails and has live music events, so great for a chilled lunch, or a night out. The staff were lovely. Really friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Thoroughly enjoyed and will be back.

Pros: Easy to find (short walk from the Tube), Serves beers, wines and spirits, Outstanding vegan snacks on sale

Cons: You might have to share a table if it is busy

One for the tourists

The food is overpriced and not that great, it's always crowded and the staff are generally rude ... veganism should be about animal rights, not trendy food fads

Pros: none

Cons: expensive, not ethical vegans, overcrowded

Inspiring InSpiral

Called in at this small restaurant during a visit to Camden Town market. Fresh, bright atmosphere with lovely food. I ate the Pasta Tempeh Carbonara (brown rice fusilli with tempeh, tossed in a creamy siken tofu and turmeric sauce) with a side serving of garlic and rosemary potato wedges. The whole thing was utterly delicious. My daughter had the inSpiral veggie burger which she found delicious. My wife had the sweet potato chocolate brownie which she really enjoyed.

Lovely setting with a view over the canal (it will be even better once the nearby building work has been completed).

It's a small restaurant with small tables, so it can feel a little bit cramped (especially if you are a large group) but that didn't detract at all from the experience. I strongly recommend it.

Pros: Pleasant atmposphere, Reasonably good selection of food.

Cons: There was no paper in the toilet.

Great for raw food lovers

We have been here a few times and always enjoy the raw food options. It's often busy and seems a bit hipster, but the food is always good and the staff are friendly, so we can't complain!

The last time we went we had the raw platter and shared it between the two of us. I really recommend it!

Pros: Good raw options, Friendly staff

Fabulous!

This has to be the best restaurant in the whole of London. The food is simply amazing and the portions are good. Everything is completely vegan. Desserts are exquisitely good. Atmosphere is buzzing and they have events and parties and they're open very late at the weekend. You can buy your snacks and useful vegan cooking ingredients here too!

Pros: Buzzing atmosphere, Good portions, Everything is vegan

Healthy food in Camden Town

A small and healthy place in Camden, London, with raw foods, smoothies and natural juices, superfoods, breakfasts, etc...
Too much people inside because there are another restaurant (not veg) in the upstairs.

Good portions of wholesome food

There are some huge portions available here if you are hungry. The food is fantastic, some is buffet style and atmosphere is casual. Great for vegans, you will want to eat everything!

Lovely location

I've been for breakfast twice, trying the cooked breakfast and the raw crepes. Both were good, though I'd say the latter were perhaps more special and surprisingly tasty. It's a really nice location, and quiet on a morning - we were the only customers and had a pleasant breakfast looking out on the water. The staff could have been a touch friendlier, but otherwise great.

Left Upset and dissapointed :(

Writing this review based on a recent incident that happened... a couple of weeks ago me and my fiance popped into Inspiral after reading a review about their organic strawberry beer, we thought it would be nice to grab a couple of bottles to take back to our hotel room, was no problem we bought them and left happy, then last week we went back to get more beers to take home with us and this is what happened- Firstly we were asked by a male member of staff or possibly the team leader or manager to go to the other till and my fiance said we just wanted to grab a beer, he then said quite rudely 'It doesnt matter what you want, you order over there.' He then changed his mind and got us the beers, he then proceeded to open them, my fiance said we would like them to take out and then we were told rudely and loudly 'THATS ILLEGAL' and looked at us weird, I politely remarked that we had taken beers out the previous week, and was told 'WELL I WASNT HERE LAST WEEK.' Obviously we didnt know you couldn't take alcohol out even though we had the week before but we were made like we were doing something real bad, also I found him very rude as he could just have said 'Im sorry but our alcohol policy does not allow you to take alcohol off the premises. We will not be returning again.

Cons: Rude Staff

good food and vegan options

Good bar/restaurant with many vegan and raw food. Their dishes are creative, and most important, tasty and well made. If you like beer, you must try the Freedom Larger. The service is good and the ambient is nice. My only complaint is the music, repetitious and a little annoying.

Pros: different dishes

Cons: a little expensive, repetitious music

Good smoothies

I have been there twice, sort of, the second time there was with a friend to get lunch, but we left because the music was very loud. Don't mean to sound like a grumpy granddad, but we couldn't hear each other talk. It's sad because it's a really nice place.

The first time i was there with my mom and sister, we had smoothies and some snacks. Their kale chips are amazing! Really great atmosphere, but maybe turn down the volume a bit, so that it's possible to carry on a conversation.

Pros: good smoothies, nice interior, kale chips are so good omg

Cons: loud music

Not Impressed

Don't know if they were having a bad day, but you had to wait ages in line to order something and then got told it wasn't available, but then after paying, get told they had it available.
There were four staff members, one stocking up crisps, one taking orders, one making drinks and the other day up high and was having a break and the place was full.
The burgers we had were nice, but considering they're classed as a hot meal, the wedges were luke warm and burger was cold plus the bread rolls were like bricks, I understand that rye bread can be hard, but these were obviously stale! Paying nearly £11 each isn't acceptable.
The juices were delicious and the desserts looked tasty and the raw goji chocolates were divine.
But have to say, the main drinks fridge was filthy and you can tell that some of those cans have been sitting there for a while, dented and covered in dirt, had to tell a member of staff, just incase it may cause more complaints.
Left disappointed as I've heard so many good reviews about this place and considering it's one of the only vegan places in the area, you'd think it should show itself how good vegan places are and set an example.
And the all day breakfast isn't all day anymore, that finishes at 12noon, so the website needs to be updated.

Pros: Greengasm juice was tasty, Nice views , Raw goji chocolates

Cons: Prices are high for what you get, Cleanliness is lacking, Poor communication

Fun and Alternative Vegan Tourist Spot

InSpiral lounge is a fun and busy atmosphere that's always packed with visitors. They have a nice variety of beverages - coffees and smoothies are abundant! They also have a good amount of vegan food and raw desserts. I had their chocolate hazelnut torte and it was a luxurious free noon dessert. Come for the food but stay for the occasional live music and eclectic crowd.

Pros: great location, live music, raw vegan options

Cons: very busy, food pre-made and not made to order

Laid back vegan cafe bar with hippy vibe

I met a friend here and between us we tried:
Raw cashew nut pizza
Thai patties
Jacket potato wedges
Side salad which was humungous)
Organic beers

The food was tasty and the portions were large and reasonably priced.
It was no thrills bar food, but with the bonus of being vegan.
The cafe was dark and crammed, but busy with a good atmosphere.
The staff were INCREDIBLY friendly and helpful, I would go back for this reason alone. It was 9pm on a Thursday when we went, and there was a loud techno duo playing music, which made the conversation between my friend and I rather difficult, but it was a Thursday night so what did we expect.

Would go back if I was in the area.

Pros: Lovely staff, Reasonable prices, Lots of small dishes to choose from

Cons: A bit shabby

Great location & vibe, not fully vegan

I was estatic to stumble upon the Inspiral lounge when shopping in Camden- unlike a lot of vegan spots this one is right on the high street, overlooking the lock. The music was good and the staff were friendly. When I went they had all kinds of raw tarts, quiches and pizzas, as well as sweet treats including raw ice cream. I had a hazelnut chcolate torte and a mango lassi, both of which were good, though the lassi was kind of grainy (I think it contained ground chia seeds or something).

I went back yesterday for the open mike night, and was dismayed to realise that they were selling cow's milk as well as matcha tea with honey in it. Between this and the price I have to retract a star. Still a lovely spot but I'd rather patronise all-vegan eateries when possible.

Pros: Key location, Great Vibe, Hosts lots of cool music/art events

Cons: Not fully vegan, Relatively expensive

Try the savoury tarts !

In this cosy place, you can choose at the counter what you wish you had with quite a good choice of salads to put aside. I keep a very good memory of their savoury tart (I even finished my neighbour’s dish). The cheesecake is not the best I tried though. They also have a mini-shop part with products of their brand (Kale chips included). Recommended but not for a romantic dinner with your lover though. This is Camden !
