A Delicious Introduction to Ital Food

On our first trip to Negril, Kyng Sharlo cooked us three wonderful meals. This was our first exposure to real Ital food. Every bite was delicious, and the conversation, atmosphere, and hospitality added up to a very memorable experience that nourished our stomachs and our souls. Kyng Sharlo was eager to educate us on the Rastafarian cuisine, culture, and philosophy. We also appreciated that he kindly delivered a last-minute holiday meal to our accommodation for a small fee. If you are a vegan in Negril, please don't hesitate to reach out to Kyng Sharlo on WhatsApp +1 (876) 326 6814. He will host your dinner or deliver for a small fee.

Pros: Delicious food, nice vibe, friendly staff

Cons: Uncomfortable seating

Ital Vegan Food - Cook to Order

Kyng Sharlo is currently doing vegan meals on a cook to order basis, with the option of delivery in the Negril area. This is some of the best vegan food I have had while traveling, the seasoning is on point! Kyng Sharlo is a Rasta and a Musician who offers private tours around the island and has flowers, dabs and edibles for sale. We had a great experience with him and know you will too! One Love :).

Pros: Delicous Vegan Food, Private Tours, High Grade Marijuana

Go There!

I am amazed with the quality of food we received here! What an amazing chef- so thoughtful and kind- you could feel the Caribbean flavor in each bite and it even felt healing to eat! Kyng created different meals for my husband and I while we were in Negril and accepted paypal and delivered our meals (we connected through the whatsapp.) Each meal was unique and created fresh for us, but was always exquisitely prepared and wonderful. A solid quantity each time and our favorites were the Rasta Pasta and Ital Pattys. The fruit salad we got lasted for a few days as it was so big! I cannot say enough about this place!

Pros: Excellent food, Good value, Unique

Best Breakfast

This was our go to breakfast spot in Negril. The chef, King Sharlo (aspiring musician) is a champion porridge chef and a truly sweet and kind soul. It looks simple but tastes divine. It’s a great way to start your day, with a bowl of delicious porridge. He also makes good pattys. I wish we could have had dinner here too but we simply never fit it in to our schedule.

Authentic Ital Vegan

Great place to support the locals and get some authentic Ital vegan food. They make you whatever they have! We had Rasta pasta, callaloo & okra, bean stew, bread fruit, boiled banana, boiled yam, fresh juice. It was great. They also have 🌿 and edibles if that’s your speed. The owner and his buddies will entertain you as you eat too.

Pros: Vegan, Ital, Jamaican

Cons: Pricey

Sweet Spot

All vegan ital food, and very focused on marijuana offerings as well. Locals were hanging out smoking pot while we ate dinner, a friendly laid back vibe. Food was great

Pros: Jamaican Vibes

Great vegan ital food, great vibes

Amazing place with incredible food and great energy. Get a huge plate of food for $10, so big you could split it into two meals. Or you can order food like vegan ital patties (the ackee patties are amazing). They also can deliver!
Sit down, enjoy your food and have conversations with real Rastas regarding the world, love, peace, unity, music, etc. The staff are awesome and so accepting.
Definitely worth eating at in Negril for a true Rasta experience!

Pros: Real Rastafarian experience , 10 minute drive from 7 mile beach
