Elevated Vegan Indian Fine Dining Experience 🌿✨ - Edit
Really cool concept with a fully vegan menu option. I loved how they added creative twists to traditional Indian dishes — everything felt refined and beautifully presented. The restaurant itself is super fancy and definitely great for a special occasion. I also did the non-alcoholic pairing with each course, which was really well thought out and complemented the flavors perfectly. Highly recommend booking the vegan tasting menu if you want a unique fine-dining experience in Chicago.

great option for a special night out - Edit
Michelin Star Indian inspired vegan or vegetarian (or meat) tasting menu, in Chicago! If you don't know what a tasting menu is, it is where you have a bunch of small courses and spend a long time. It is not cheap, or fast. Typically you'll see interesting ingredients and some cutting edge techniques. I would have appreciated more of an explanation about the courses, both about ingredients and techniques from the servers, I think it heightens the meal and this isn't eating out as part of an evening, this is dinner as THE EVENT. Some tasting menus I've had were like 12-14 courses, this one was about half that, although I haven't done very many tasting menus. For us it is for a very special occasion, but expect to spend a couple of hours and at least a couple hundred dollars (before tip) per person.
Read moreWe went with the vegetarian menu with the wine pairing (not the fancy wine pairing) and went for the two plus ups. I haven't experienced a tasting menu with plus ups (aka an extra course for an additional price) but I'm no expert. Consistent with other tasting menus, some things were mind blowingly awesome and I wanted more and some things... well... no regrets. The two plus ups were probably the standouts, so I'm glad we did them but that did add $ to the meal.
I don't know if we set the pace wrong, but we were often still finishing the wine from one course when the next course would arrive, which led to us drinking faster than normal, and feeling it. I don't know if this is because we had an early seating and they wanted to make sure our table was free, or maybe it was on us. So my advice is to not let yourself feel rushed.
Would I do it again, yes. Soon, no. Pretty sure the bill was over $600 for two people. For my budget this is like a once every other year kind of meal. Overall not a revelation, but a very good meal and great experience.
Pros: Michelin Stared Indian Tasting Menu!, great, friendly staff, very good and pretty unique food
Cons: for us it was a little rushed. , just know, this is not a cheap meal.

Amazing vegan and non alcoholic experience - Edit
This is a Michelin star rated restaurant that offers prix fixe menus, they can also accommodate gluten free.
Read moreWe had the vegan tasting with the non alcoholic pairing (and we added an extra course of the morel samosa) and our total with gratuity was about $500.
I was very hungry when I came in at 538pm and I left very satisfied when I left at 830pm.
We also asked to see the kitchen which was a treat, really appreciated all the staff especially Yusuf.
Pros: Deliciously seasoned, Inventive, upscale take on Indian classics, Amazing service
Cons: No way to take home 😝

Truly incredible. The impeccable service matched the impeccable meal. I wouldn't change a thing. This was such a lovely experience and likely the best meal I've ever eaten.

Incredible vegan tasting menu - Edit
Have been lucky enough to dine here twice, most recently with the wine pairing to go along with the vegan tasting menu. The service is exceptional and the food is stunning. Each course is beautiful, delicious and original. Both times there have been moments in the meal that genuinely left me speechless.
Read moreThe only weak point is the cocktail menu. The signature cocktails that were vegan felt gimmicky and unbalanced and didn’t pair well with the meal.

Memorable Experience! - Edit
We pre-ordered the vegan seven-course tasting menu, also requesting gluten and soy free. They were very accommodating and offered champagne on the house because we were celebrating a birthday. Everything was incredibly tasty, the service was fantastic. Upscale but so memorable!
