A Hidden Oasis within Dushanbe

Located behind the big blue medical school off Rudaki above the courtyard for Indian medical students is an unassuming, unadvertised 2nd floor canteen serving vegan north Indian cuisine cafeteria style. Not necessarily open for the public but they do allow non-students to dine for a very low price. The food is excellent and fresh and worth the hunt. It's possible some days the menu may have dairy, but not the times I visited. There's no signage or any indication that an Indian cafeteria is nearby so you kind of have to follow your nose towards the rich, sumptuous scents of culinary bliss...

Pros: Delicious, Insanely cheap, Fresh ingredients

Cons: No advertising, cash only
