They don’t know what gluten free means - Edit
I chose to eat here because on the website they say they are friendly to dietary restrictions. They did not understand what gluten free meant at all. I just ordered what I thought would be safe. I asked for the food to be made mild and it was still incredibly spicy so I couldn’t eat too much of it. It was good overall, but incredibly expensive.

We had two curries that came with rice. Quick and efficient service. Food came with mango pickle which was good. Overall good. It is expensive compared to your normal indian but have to say good value for money when in Switzerland.

We weren't able to find too many options in Interlaken so we're happy to find a vegetarian Indian restaurant. I really enjoyed the pakoras and would recommend getting those if you come! The rest of the food was nice, but the garlic naan tasted a bit stale/dry. The main issue was that it was just way too expensive for what it was. Understand that Switzerland can be expensive but this did seem even more so. The Thali looked like a good deal but unfortunately they weren't able to make it vegan.

Best Indian in Interlaken - Edit
Indian Pure Vegetarian offers a flavorful option for a touristy town. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of Indian restaurants in the little town of Interlaken. And they all looked to have vegetarian/vegan options on their menu, however, Indian Pure stood out to me because of their commitment abstaining from meat.
Read moreOur dishes were filling and savory. And it made a hearty meal after an adventurous day in the Swiss Alps. I never would have expected to have vegetarian Indian food in the middle of Switzerland, but I was pleasantly surprised by the diversity of food.
The only downside is that I found it more on the pricy side, but in a tourist town in the most expensive country in the world, what else would one expect.
If I ever pass by Interlaken again, I am definitely returning.
Pros: Everything is Vegetarian , Outdoor seating available
Cons: Not entirely Vegan, Little pricy

The all-you-can-eat buffet is a great deal price-wise but they were out of one of the vegan options so there were only two main vegan dishes.

What a find! It's all vegetarian. There are 3 vegan/gluten free curries, vegan garlic naan, white and yellow rice, and salad. They have a buffet everyday from 5-close for 29 franks per person and includes free non alcoholic beverages. Our server spoke very good English and was incredibly helpful and kind. He even pointed to everything we can have at the buffet. The food is fresh and switched out often. My girlfriend said the naan they made for her was the freshest she's ever had. I absolutely recommend it. The food is great!
