Good basic Indian food, average pizza without cheese - Edit
Sao Pedro de Penaferrim is an area in Sintra, just down from Palace of Pena. There are two Indian-Italian restaurants on the same street almost next to each other, Indian Palace and Pic Nic.
At Indian Palace there was a waitress or owner who spoke very good English and they understood vegetarian food. We had lentil soup, fried rice (or was it biryani), dhal and a vegetarian pizza without cheese. The pizza what nothing special, but okay. Indian food was good.
