Great, authentic Indian street food.

If you’ve never been to Singapore, a visit to Newton Circus is on many people’s list. However, It’s hard to find anything vegan there, so Indian Palace is a great option. You’ll find it in the main, larger section of the hawker centre.

The owner’s daughter was very friendly and helpful and made sure we knew what was vegan and also what she could veganise for us.

As you’d expect in Singapore, hygiene standards are carefully monitored at Newton, so you should have no concerns about that.

We enjoyed a really great spread of food, washed down with a few Tigers from a nearby beer stall. Super good value for money too. If you like Indian food, go!
