Found A Resturant open on New years Day - Edit

We were near Nishiki market and I was looking around for a place to eat and I saw this on happycow and was not dissppointed. The food was great. The atmosphere is okay. The staff/ owner was polite. I mentioned vegan to him and he told me exactly what he would alter for my food to make it vegan for the lunch set. The place is a little hidden, and he arrived late to opening so we wondered if it was even open. He arrived as soon as we were about to leave and says to give him 10 mins politley and were not disspointed.

Pros: Attentive staff, Staff spoke great english, Told me exactly what he would alter for my food

Cons: Atmosphere is okay

Real Food! - Edit

A very good and satisfying vegan option for 2500¥. The waiter was very kind to offer extra rice instead of the Nan bread which contains eggs. Highly recommended.

Pros: quiet atmosphere, good food, good location

Very delicious - Edit

We enjoyed the menu with the different curry and potatoe dishes. It was really tasty and comprehensive. As a vegan you have to ask for a non-dairy version of the dishes.
We could choose between sitting on the floor or at a table. The ambiente was cozy but the interior seemed a bit old.

Nice food - Edit

The restaurant could have been nicer, the food on the other hand was good! The vegetarian options tasted good but wasn't strong, but you got spices you could add... the naan bread was simply amazing, the butter one especially. A bit disappointed on the cheese naan, but over all it was a good restaurant!

Pros: Nice Indian food!

Cons: the room felt a bit b...

Delicious Naan, authentic cuisine - Edit

This place was so good! The chef is from Nepal and the food is very authentic. The garlic naan was incredible and huge! I also had the spinach/potato dish, which I think had a little yogurt drizzled on top, so watch out for that. You could just ask him to leave it off.

Pros: Authentic, Relaxed and cozy, Reasonable prices

Cons: Can't think of any

Best Naan & Great Options - Edit

My friends and I stumbled upon this place with little expectations and were blown away by the amazing fresh naan and curry (my friend had daal and I the vegetable curry). We saw the chef make the naan on the spot and it was fabulous. He was nice and accommodating. Great experience, we would come back! For a huge regular naan and a curry, it was about 1100 yen.

Pros: Great flavors Nice host
