Serves meat, vegan options available. New Hampshire's White Mountains hotel restaurant, whose dinner menu, while meat-based, includes a several vegetarian dishes: a grilled tofu vegetable dish, a black bean burger, a pasta primavera, and you could ask for vegan cheese on pizza. Reported the owners' daughter is vegan, inspiring them to create vegan options. Overlooks a lakeside landscape surrounded by the mountains.

store-bought black bean burger (gardein?) - Edit
i got the black bean burger (labeled vegan on their menu which is super helpful). it was nothing special, just the patty and lettuce, tomato, and onion. i would recommend asking if the mushrooms and onions are cooked in oil and adding them to the burger if they are. they also have some salads, nachos, and a mediterranean bowl that u can ask to take the dairy products off and add a black bean patty. the service was mediocre and the prices were slightly high, but i appreciate the vegan options.

Disappointing - Edit
I was excited when I heard the daughter of the owner was vegan because it gave the impression that they would serve a variety of plant based options. However, there were very few choices and most were overpriced. I got the vegan pizza which was definitely a frozen pizza they heated up (and burnt). Wouldnt recommend...

Expensive store bought frozen food - Edit
Don't be fooled by the menu description of the pizza. You will be deceived with a store bought frozen pizza, with none of the delicious promised veggies. You will also pay $17 for it. Same goes for the green salad and the veggie burger. The whole place clearly reached its peak 30 years ago and has been unable to maintain the most basic food quality. Beware!

not the place for vegans - Edit
There's 3 vegan options: hummus platter with veggies, pizza, or a burger. I got the pizza ($15) which was defiantly frozen and I believe only had daiya cheese, sauce, garlic, and tomatoes on it. The description said it had vegetables so I expected something more and fresh. Big disappointment. I'm guessing the burger is also frozen.

Nice vegan options! - Edit
I would not have ventured here if it weren't for Happy Cow and I am glad I did. They had a massive grilled tofu and veg platter and there were a few other vegan options, as well. NH is not particularly vegan-friendly so this was a welcome change. Come for sunset for a pretty view of the White Mountains.
