Really nice guy cooking south indian food. Cool concept of a shared kitchen with 3 chefs, so you can order indian, senegalese, or french food (the latter are less vg friendly though)

Great tasting authentic South Indian food - Edit
The food was exceptional. The chap running Indian Corner really cares deeply about what he does and it shows. You can watch him through the kitchen window as he goes about creating your meal with passion. It tasted delicious and was very reasonable priced too. A definite must for anyone visiting Lyon in search of authentic vegetarian/ vegan South Indian food.

Popped in for dinner one evening. Surprised to find it was run by a French chef but his versions of South Indian classics such as dosa, uttapam, idli & vada were pretty good even if the spice levels have been turned down a notch or two to please the local audience. You can get a main, a side and a cold drink for €17 which is great value.

Découverte de la nourriture indienne du Sud, pas épicé du tout, très gourmand ! On s'est vraiment régaler avec les sauces à versé sur les plats. Le gérant est super sympa on a discuté voyage. Je recommande vivement !

Flavourful south Indian food - Edit
We struggled a little to find the restaurant and it's very small, but the food was very tasty and it was a discovery for me, as I had never eaten anything from southern India before. The owner was extremely nice, he took the time to explain the dishes, how to eat them, and before we left, he recommended us some vegan places in Lyon (we actually tried one thanks to him!).

The only thing to maybe be aware of is that the restaurant is shared with another restaurant that serves meat. I wasn't too much bothered by it, but I know some people can't stand the sight or smell of meat.

It was confusing because in front it seemed a Thai restaurant. So without this app we would never have discovered it. The chef and his sister were very friendly. The food was different than most Indian resto’s and very good!

The chef told us his story, how he traveled through southern India for 6 months practicing and perfecting recipes. The passion and dedication really come through in the dishes. Although we would have liked choices with a source of protein, the effort to be faithful to southern Indian tradition makes up for it for one meal. We also enjoyed the chai and our post-meal chat with the staff. 100% recommended!
