Best vegan food I had in Lanzarote! - Edit
The restaurant advertises a gluten free and vegan menu but when we asked it seemed there wasn’t a separate one, just a lot of options listed on the main menu. They weren’t clearly marked but the staff were very helpful in pointing out options and answering questions.
Read moreThere were vegan options across starters and main courses and a lot of gluten free options (the staff member said it was all gluten free but I would double check to be sure if needed). The food was really good and flavoursome - in particular the aloo ghobi was delicious.

We went in on the strength of a sign saying there’s a vegan menu. We liked the food here even if the vegan menu thing is slightly misleading - there’s lots of dishes that can be made vegan but you do have to check with the staff. The vegetarian bit of the menu says the vegetable dishes can be made with any sauce so again, worth checking. The staff were incredibly helpful though, and were very kind and friendly. We ordered some vegetable pakora to start and then I had a vegetable madras and my husband had a paneer dish (paneer karahi I think). Good, flavourful food, and a lovely vegan pina colada to round things off.

I tried this restaurant because I arrived really late and it was one of the only place with vegan food that was opened. I had the cauliflower Aloo gobi and it was really tasty. My partner had the vegan curry that was also good. However, vegan options are not clearly labeled even if the staff was knowledgeable and the options were limited.

The restaurant has a vegan menu. The waiter was very accommodating and helped choose the food that was part of the early bird deal (€9.95 for 6 courses)

Best Indian on the Island - Edit
Indian aroma is the sister restating of Zaffran and Bollywood, well known and delicious restaurants on the island. I have been going to these restaurants since I was a child and have rarely gone elsewhere. They offer resident discounts as well as having an “early bird special” which includes a 6 course meal for only €9.95 between the hours of 15:00-17:00. Very good value for money and delicious, offering various vegan options. Very helpful and fully respectful of veganism.
