Serves meat, vegan options available. Serves authentic Indian cuisine with a large vegetarian section on menu, of which some are vegan.

I usually come to this restaurant in Dundas, after hiking in this area. The owner and workers are friendly and always welcoming. The food is one of the best indian restaurants i've had in Ontario and also tried many in India as well. Highly recommend the palak paneer and the naan bread as well. If i could give 5 stars I would
Went in August for my birthday. My only con is their liberal use of cilantro in everything. I just cannot tolerate it. I asked if they could make anything without it and she said no not really but recommended the eggplant Patiala Ka Bhaigan, a spicy and rich stew. Very delicious. Also had the onion bhajis. Yummy! Vegan options are clearly marked with a green V. Highly recommend if you love Indian food.
FANTASTIC food. Lots of options. No compromise on quality. Lunch thali is enough for 2. Dinner - I order lots so I have leftovers the next day. Can't say enough.

Every experience I've had at India Village has been top notch, great transparency in the menu vegetarian and vegan choices are clearly marked, as are gluten free options. The lunch special is a great value and great way to try out different dishes.
India Village has lovely decor, friendly helpful staff, and their menu has many delicious vegan and veg friendly items all labelled, making ordering a breeze.
