solid lunch buffet with vegan options

I recently went to India Palace for the second time & again came here for the lunch buffet. I found the samosa to be better this time. They were more authentic featuring flavorful potatoes & peas. I loved the spicy cucumber salad that was made with serrano chili peppers with seeds so had a good amount of heat that I appreciated.

I again loved the palak tofu aka spinach tofu dish & is by far a stand out dish on the buffet. The vegetable pakoras were crip & piping hot. The only improvement I found was for the aloo gobi as I would have preferred the potatoes to be a bit softer & perhaps cooked slightly more.

Overall I found the India Palace buffet to have everything dialed & it was excellent!
I will be back soon :)

Clearly Labeled Vegan

I was in Alameda with limited options still open and found this place. While there vegan options are minimal, they are clearly labeled in their own section. The chana masala was delicious, some of the best I've ever had!

Pros: Clearly labeled vegan options, Yummy food, Nice indoor environment

Cons: Very limited vegan options
