Good veg option in the area - Edit
we came here for their mango soup, and it was great. They have a vegetarian section of the menu and are helpful with pointing out vegan options as well.

The owners are friendly and lots of options for vegans. I love it when they have vegan buffet because it's awesome!!

The owners take pride in their work and are very attentive to the customers. The restaurant serves meat, however a large portion of space on the menu has been devoted to both Vegetarian AND Vegan patrons. There are sections for both under appetizers and entrees. The wait-staff will steer you in the right direction if you are ordering something that might have an unwanted ingredients. I ordered a mixed drink and the waitress immediately advised me that there was some sort of fish sauce in the mix (yuck!) She also walked me over to the buffet and pointed out everything that was strictly vegan and which was vegetarian. It takes a lot of the stress off eating out.
I highly recommend the kofta curry - it is awesome! This is the best Indian food in Richmond.
