Serves meat, vegan options available. Indian restaurant that can make a variety of dishes vegan. Specify vegan when ordering. Open Tue-Sun 11:00am-10:00pm.
Closed Mon.
I order take-out from here all the time. My favorites are the Baingan Bharta, the Aloo Palak, and the Shahi Navratan Korma (so yummy!). Not overly oily, spicy, and flavorful dishes. I've only eaten in the restaurant once, but it was nice and the service was great. A must-try if you like Indian food.
Longstanding in the community, India Kabob is a midtown staple. Sometimes the waiters can be hard to understand, so asking questions about the menu can be difficult - or relaying information to the chef like allergies or preferences. Expansive menu serving meat, ghee, yogurt so you must be careful. This is the type of place I would choose a dish you know is vegan in preparation like Biryani. It's quite spacious inside, easy for groups
I love their buffet and just ordering their entrees. They have a smaller selection for vegetarians than meat eaters but still a lot of delicious options.
2.5/5 I've gotten both take out and dine in from this resturant and i prefer takeout because the staff often ignores us. I also have noticed that they have like 3 different ghost kitchens on uber eats one of those being "Vegan Indian Experiment" or something like that. Some of the items on that menu are supposedly vegan but I've asked in person about the item being vegan and the servers talked down to me for asking if it was vegan and if i could have the roti without ghee. I usually just get uber eats now and stick to the curries rather than risk getting a non vegan dish on accident.
