Da es in Nouakchott für Veganer*innen nicht viele Alternativen gibt, sind wir hier gelandet. Der Besitzer des Restaurants, der uns bediente, kannte den Unterschied zwischen Vegan und Vegetarisch nicht. Der Bestellvorgang war sehr langwierig und hitzig, bis wir uns halbwegs sicher waren nun etwas 100% pflanzliches zu bekommen.

Palak Was Amazing - Edit
They accommodated my special vegan order with a salad (no onions), a palak (no panneer, no yogurt) and plain rice. The palak was just amazing! Being in a country has ZERO vegan or vegetarian restaurants, I guess this is pretty good!
