Tried a few different dishes and they were all good. Note that even though the dish says vegan on the menu, you still need to mention to the server that you want it vegan.
Really tasy meal. The vegan options are clearly labelled. Good value. Also it was pouring down with rain and one of the staff members offered us a ride back to our hotel. Good people.
My husband and I got this while in town for the week. We haven’t had much Indian food before, but we are pretty open to trying new things, and we really enjoyed it! The menu was clearly listed what’s vegan which was nice, because some ethnic places aren’t good about that. But make sure to tell your server your vegan as well, because a few items they will add butter to if you don’t mention it. (Our server realized we were vegan and went back to make sure they didn’t put butter on our bread.) The dishes a big portions, so in my opinion you should share. The service was good and the food came out pretty quick. Definitely recommend!
We often visit Branson and this is our go to place to eat! The owner and staff are super helpful for appetizer modifications if you tell them you are Vegan. The main dishes and breads are very clearly marked Vegan on the menu, which makes ordering so easy, with several options available. Prices are reasonable too. Flavorful food with spice if you ask. Best Indian restaurant in the area in my opinion.
Several options to choose from, clearly labeled vegan on the menu. Very friendly service and knowledgeable.
We ordered roti, aloo paratha, Chana masala, dal makhani, aloo gobi, mixed vegetable curry. There was so much flavor in each dish, we couldn’t get enough! The sauces were a good creamy consistency loaded with vegetables, lentils and chickpeas.
We didn’t take photos as we were too excited to dig in! We cannot say enough good things about this place!
When looking for a vegan restaurant we decided on Inda Clay Oven. Could not have been better. We had the Samosa Chat, Spinach Paratha, Allo Gobi, and Mix Vegetable Curry. Everything was fabulous. There were many other items on the menu that fit a vegan diet.
The service was great. The owner went through the menu with us and explained the items we asked about.
First of all, a vegan in Branson is a nightmare, so I was beyond elated to see an Indian restaurant across the street from the hotel. That feeling was premature.
They couldn't make a vegan Aloo Saag, and they didn't seem to know what vegan meant. I inquired about their Gobi Manchurian dish. The lady spoke with a manager who assured me that this dish was vegan. Great. That's what I ordered.
*sigh* There was no flavor and no spice in the Gobi dish, although it was requested extra spicy. On top of that, the man who rang me out (I assume he was the owner) proceeded to get an attitude with me because I didn't have cash.
From the looks of everything I witnessed here, from the menu selection to the lack of flavor and spice, this American-Indian oven is geared toward a particular crowd - the Branson crowd, so do not come here expecting authentic Indian cuisine. You won't find it.
No less than 10 vegan items on the menu and clearly marked, no need to even ask what's vegan and so many vegetarian items. Food is delicious and fantastic service! Prices range from $13-17 per entre and is a decent portion size.
Lots of vegan options when you let them know! Great veggies, amazing rice dishes! They have an entire veggie section on their menu and you just let them know you are vegan and they help you make sure you don't get anything we dairy! Fabulous flavors! We are here for a week and I'm sure we will be back multiple times this trip ❤️
A haven for travelers or locals looking to escape the never ending BBQ and other well meaning but poor options that Branson has to offer. For the persons or families coming to Branson for affordable family fun but looking for healthy, vegan or better options outside of the American diet, this place is your Mecca! Great ambience, authentic and delicious food and terrific service. Many vegetarian and vegan options with flavors galore. My husband and I got a few appetizers and the kids devoured the Channa Marsala and lentil daal with rice meals. Loaded with flavor! Definitely would go back. I would be a regular patron if I was local but especially welcoming during a vacation with limited veggie options!
