The BEST - Edit
So absolutely delicious. Everything I've tried is amazing. They have Indian dishes otherwise not often found in Prague. I go here SO often. Most things can be made vegan and everything is worth trying.

Kind and helpful staff who will tell you what is vegan and what is spicy. The restaurant is small. The food was really great. I had a dosa. Starter was really delicious. We will definitely come back here. Highly recommend.

A tiny place with great food - Edit
I was at a conference at the Prague Congress Centre, and saw that there was a vegetarian Indian place nearby. I went there with four friends, and couldn't have come out happier. Most of the group got dosas; I got their Paneer Palak Paratha, which turns out to be their own invention -- and wow, was it great, a flatbread with spinach and paneer. We also ordered a pakora plate and pani puri. Everyone was delighted and satisfied.
Read moreThe restaurant is tiny, so it's definitely a good idea to reserve places in advance if you want to sit there. (We did, and it was empty when we arrived at 18:45, but more people soon showed up.)
It wasn't the huge, extensive menu that I've so often seen at Indian restaurants around the world. But that's OK -- they make a few things, certainly more than enough for any individual or group, and they do it really well.
Pros: Delicious food, Great service
Cons: Small, so be sure to reserve!

Great dosas - Edit
There are only couple of places where you can eat south Indian cuisine in Prague which is a shame since the food is great. This small bistro is no exception.

Delicious Indian Food - Edit
I'm a regular visitor here now and have ranked it as 5*. There's a good selection of food and everything is delicious. The sev puri are a particular highlight.

I had the vegan version of the aloo paratha and it was very good. A nice bit of chilli, perhaps a little bit under seasoned beyond that. The pickles provided did help to add a bit of extra taste. The pickle portion looks a bit small but they were happy to refill the pot for me.
The pakora plate was tasty. The potato ones were nice and thinly sliced with a good crisp coating. Lacking a little bit of flavour but when you got some of the dusting of chaat masala on top it was good. The onion pakoras were excellent and the seasoning was better in this.
This was a lot of food for one hungry person, it was a bit much for one person. On a separate visit I had the Pani Puri. These were very good but just lacked a little bit of crispy snap that would make them perfect. The fillings were very tasty.
The restaurant is a bit small with not a lot of seats, I've been a couple of times on Saturday day lunch times and there's been a good few spaces both times.
This is food I grew up with so I'll probably always find fault with something that doesn't come from my mother's kitchen.

Fresh breath of Indian cuisine - Edit
Small bistro serving authentic Indian street food. You won't find your average Indian curry or tikka masala here! Mostly vegetarian, but some dishes are vegan or can be veganized.
Read moreThe portions are reasonably sized and you definitely feel full after the meal! I recommend vada pav if you are feeling snacky, or pav bhaji, dosa or paratha if you are feeling like having a proper meal.
The staff is nice and helpful. They guide you through the menu and even ask about your tolerance of spice (though personally I have found the dishes to be "pleasantly" spicy).

Fun vegan options - Edit
This is a small, friendly place with some good vegan options. The menu is available in English or Czech and vegan options are clearly marked.
Read moreI tried the pani puri, which were tasty and enjoyable, followed by the aloo paratha, which was a touch underseasoned for me and really relied on the pickle to bring some flavour. It's a shame there's no vegan yoghurt as an alternative to the dairy yoghurt.
The masala chai was really nice, but a 15 czk charge for oat milk feels quite steep.
In terms of accessibility, the front door is up a step from the street.

Very tasty small bistro - Edit
This small bistro offers many vegan options, and most other dishes can be made vegan. The food is super tasty and the staff is very friendly. They offer dishes you dont often find in Prague, such as masala dosa. Everything is freshly cooked
