Fantastic curry - Edit
Very knowledgeable staff who reassured me that they can do any of the naan vegan and let me know that they would give us a different dip for the Samosas as the one usually served with it is not vegan. Vegan curry options are chana masala and Aloo Gobi

Great Indian food! - Edit
There is a vegetarian section on the menu but nothing is labelled vegan, luckily the staff are very knowledgeable and knew which dishes were vegan 🌱
Read moreI got the Chana masala and it was probably one of the best curries I’ve ever had, the chickpeas were so big and tender! 😋 My partner got a chicken curry and thoroughly enjoyed it too!
Overall we had a great meal here! I would recommend making a reservation, especially if you want to sit outside in the street, as it was quite busy when we visited in the evening!
Pros: Yummy food, Knowledgeable staff

The menu does not state what is vegan but the waitress was helpful and it was easy enough to order. We had two mains with rice and garlic naan and everything tasted delicious.

Really tasty food and quick service - Edit
Food was delicious. We had both the vegan currys, one is a aloo Gobi and the other is a chickpea curry. We had a side of rice and garlic naan. We mentioned to the server we were vegan and he advised us on what we could have, and the gentleman who brought out the food also mentioned everything was made vegan for us to reassure us which was nice. It is a bit expensive, being €14 per curry, but 2 Currys, one rice and one naan was enough for the 2 of us.
Read moreOnly criticism I have is that the gentleman who passed us our menus didn't give us time to think and pressured us to decided what we wanted there and then, despite it being empty. It would have been nice to have had a minute or two to decide on drinks and naan bread flavour etc
Pros: Food, Quick service , Vegan knowledge
Cons: Rushed into decision making

Reasonably priced - Edit
I was surprised to find it was almost empty during August. The food was great and staff was attentive. Better prices than most places in Dubrovnik I saw.

Delicious! - Edit
My husband and I each had the Aloo Gobi dish for dinner. He chose a medium spicy level and I chose mild. We each really enjoyed our meal with basmati rice. We also had garlic naan which was a tad bit oily. It didn’t taste garlicky to me. Overall we enjoyed our meals and the friendly service!

Server very accomodating. Recommended vegan dishes and noted no butter so we could have onion naan. Chickpea curry was fantastic but star of the night was cauliflower and potato curry.

Amazing food - Edit
The waiting time to get our food was reasonable, not very long. And the food was amazing! We ordered an aloo gobi and the vegetable biryani along with some plain naan, all of it with medium heat and it was great. Staff was friendly and when I asked for dairy free food, the waitress asked me if I’m vegan. So they’re vegan aware. Would definitely come back! It’s definitely a bit pricey but that’s just Dubrovnik over all. The location is also cozy, it’s just in between the houses on a little narrow street but not too noisy.

We had a lovely evening meal here for two.
Read moreI ordered the vegetable samosas to start and then had the aloo gobi. I did specify when ordering that I was vegan and the waitress understood and made it clear that she would be letting the chef know.
The food that was served was absolutely delicious - the Samosas were traditional in flavour and were served with a vegan dipping sauce. The aloo gobi tasted so good, up there with some of my favourite vegan curries and also my husband (who is not vegan) loved his food too.
Before ordering we thought the prices to be high, however after dining we realised it was completely worth it.
Pros: Vegan knowledgable staff, Delicious food

A welcome change... - Edit
...from all the rip-off pizzerias in Dubrovnik old town. The pakoras were a nice appetiser, and then we had palak paneer, dal makhani, naan, rice. Some confusion arose when I asked if they had kulfi and I was told they had tea, but no coffee: I haven't heard that one in years. I must learn to articulate better.

Vegan - Edit
Bit of a let down. I think they were busy and service was rushed.
Read moreThe poppadoms were OK. You can only get a mint yogurt dip which isn't vegan.
The curries were really tasty. Specify you are vegan when ordering and ask for no butter/cream. However, the menu clearly labels what has cheese/butter/cream on.
Slightly annoying that after we told them about being vegan that the naan was all served in 1 basket, mixed with the garlic naan which a friend ordered and has butter on.
Cons: No chutney tray, Cross contamination

Got the veggie samosa, aloo gobi, and garlic naan without butter. The staff said all the naan could be made vegan on request. It definitely hit the spot after a few weeks of only Mediterranean food

Great Indian food - Edit
We ended up here by chance, the staff are familiar with the term vegan but their menu has no labels. They pointed out which starters were vegan however they think honey is vegan so they included the honey chilli cauliflower but apart from that there is samosa, pakora and popadums. 2 vegan mains were the Aloo gobi and channa masala. All rice and most naans are vegan. You can choose your spice level and so the food was great for us. No vegan dessert but waiting staff were lovely

Little restaurant hidden away. Difficult to find on google maps, check out the other reviews for directions (they really helped us find it).
Read moreIt was great to see an Indian restaurant in Croatia so couldn’t wait to give it a try!!
We sat outside, which I would recommend as inside doesn’t look very inspiring.
When ordering we found out that quite a few of the drinks weren’t available. The food however was. The food came quickly the starters were really tasty, we had the poppy samosas and pakoras. The mains were also tasty, we had the channa masala and aloo gobi with saffron rice. The portions were good and we ended up with some leftovers which we took away with us. The waiter asked how hot we wanted the food, to which we said hot please, which was the perfect level of heat for us.
The only criticism of the food is that the main dishes were basically the same sauce but with different vegetables. Rice was cooked perfectly.
The service was prompt but i did feel a little rushed and they didn’t seem bothered if we wanted any more drinks etc.
Pros: Tasty food, Good portions
Cons: Not all vegan, Served yogurt dips after being told we are vegan, Felt rushed

Tasty! - Edit
We arrived on a Friday night without reservations but were lucky and got seated. Husband got the Channa masala. I had the Aloo Gobi. We also had samosa. Really fresh and tasty. We were hungry and it filled us up. Nice find thanks to HC.
Read moreIt was hard to find. It’s on a middle street that doesn’t run the full length of the Main Street. Best guidance I can give. Find Aroma Gelato shop and take the nearest alley to that (on same side). That will get you to the right road.
