Yummilious Vegan Food Options!

In The Pink- In Bangalore! Took us almost 1 hour to find. But it was worth the search. WOW, wonderful food. Got to speak to the owner Aparna Karjagi who has mentioned that she is planning a Vegan Menu, Awesome stuff. She gave us samples of the delectable chocolate ice cream. So great to find a place that knows whats vegan and makes amazing stuff. We tried the pulka, some dhall and bajji, benddi fry, gobi mattar, some mixed veg curry, plain rice. So recommend and indeed going there again. And if you reserve a booking online http://www.foodtang.com/ you get a 10% discount! And FoodTang calls you to confirm your reservation. The colors of their vegetables remain intact ensuring that the nutrients are preserved. Aparna Karjagi has also mentioned that, they can make some special vegan dishes like curd rice provided that atleast 2 days reservation is provided and the number of people that will be attending. tried the spinach stuffed ravioli and this is what happened, on the 1st bite we stopped eating it and were highly suspicious on if it was vegan as it tasted like cheese! So I asked for the chef to come and I asked him if he was sure this was vegan, he said yes and I asked what makes it so cheesy he says its the coconut milk! Well after 5 minutes of waiting for the chef we dived into it and enjoyed it it was supercilious, our only complain though is that the portion was too small. WOW, so want that recipe. Vegan Bangalore society is highly involved with this restaurant and has contributed to the wonderful vegan recipes.
